i recently, at my mother's advice, mixed my weed with some herbal tea (peppermint and lemonbalm)
and smoked it in a bong
    and it is awesome

i think ill do it all teh time

not only does it taste nice, it also feels softer (the smoke), and the bong doesnt smell as bad, and neither does the breath.

it might jsut be me.. but it seems to enhance the high too. ive been getting mroe stoned off less weed when mixing it with this tea, and its also a nicer, more happy high.

the only drawbacks so far is the scare that something in teh tea (points at little flavouring crystals that the tea company put in there for an extra flavour) that isnt good for my lungs when burnt.

and also, the innitial feeling of the hit is sometiems harsher than normal, but once its held for over two seconds, it then feels less harsh than normal smoke.

so yeh, try different flavours of tea and stuff

see if it works so well for you

(oh and the bongwater actually does turn into bong tea; mine is an amber colour, just lik the tea)

i tore opn the tea bag

mixed it up with my weed

    put it in my bong

but because teh teabag stuff is oftn fine, you need to chop up your weed so its fine too, so you can get a balance ebtween weed and tea.

the flavouring crystals.. when combusted.. seem to just make the smoke taste nice :p they dont hurt my lungs or anything. so yeh just look out for other ingredients in teh teabags if youre worried

The stuff that becomes your tea in the cup should pretty much dissolve in the bong water; all that should pass through are aromatics-

    not a bad idea.

Good point, but that depends on how well your bong bubbles. I mean, it takes a minute or so for all that stuff to dissolve in the tea, but it only has about a second before it's through all the bong water. The water will filter more out if it's bubbles are small and many, but if they're large and few, probably not so much.

it wouldnt realy matter either way, as long as its water soluble(sp?) it wont be pulled back into the air.

Well, even water soluable things take time to dissolve, and there isn't much time in a bong. Like I said, about a second, if that.

But then, I wouldn't be too worried about it anyways, it's just tea.

I look at the bong as a sort of cappuccino tea machine that heats with dry air instead of steam, infusing the water.

if you use normal tea there might be a caffiene element but i dont think it owuld be that much, since caffiene is water soluable and tehre isnt much in tea anywya

herbal teas are great for smoking mixtures. I'd reccomend as well sticking to all natural teas with the ingredients listed on the side of the box. Some shops also sell natural herbal smoking mixtures that are more towards flavor than "legal highs" like plantation mint, the berry mix. There used to be alot of those smoking mixes around before the whole 'legal high' craze kicked in. I guess it's because the shop owners probably got tired of people asking em if they could get high off something that was meant to smoke simply for the aroma and taste.
