Has anybody tried these?? http://www.rei.com/product/811202/vibram-fivefingers-komodosport-multisport-shoes-mens Worth the money? If not, any alternative like it? Peace:afro:
yep, 5fingers (btw... correct me, i'd find more appropriate calling 'em five toes, whatever) have been discussed here and someone tried them, sadly those things are cute yes but, well, they're god damned shoes anyway. kind of kryptonite to us, dunno if i explained myself . and beside this these vibram things are damn overpriced. oh, before you ask, another hot controversial topic here is about sole-less shoes and fake sandals. our purists of course blame them as well. it's just a heap of ludicrous objects to me, but that's just me. peace

some clown asked me where all my socks were ?? its summer wtf would I be doing with socks?? I think Ive wore the same socks for last 2 months cause I only have them on for a few minutes, when I scrub the bottom the pool doing the morning shuffle, then I hang them on the line.
Wearing Socks To Clean A Pool *yes i know so you won't slip* Has To Be One Of The Weirdest Things Ever, Even If The Bottom Is Green With Algae And Slippery You Should Not Need Them On Your Paws.... Squirrels Are Indeed Strange Animals.... Cheers Glen.
Yes. If shoes are like mittens, these are gloves. Like wearing rubber gloves all day by the sound of it. Nice.
I was kinda just wanting these for occasional use when shoes are mandatory... and maybe some hiking... Just until my feet get used to that kind of stuff. Definitely wouldn't want these all the time, or even most of the time. I like being free.
My brother-in-law got him some (which has nothing to do with not wanting to wear shoes...he's interested in the name/overpricing imo probably appeals to him. lol) and he said something about hiking in his, too! WTH He sent me a pic and I LOLed and said those better be some smooth paths! WTH...Why not just go barefooted or wear socks on a hike? LOL (Of course his hiking may have really meant walking on sidewalks to stores.)
If you have "mandatory" shoe issues then just buy a pair of flip flops, much cheaper and easier to put on and off. Won't make your feet smell and will probably last far longer as well.
This would be the simplest fix. although never go outdoors with flip flops on for a long period of time, just put them on before you enter that area where it's mandatory to have some footwear. I hate the flip flop tan lines. But that's probably just me...
You are not the only one, me too. What I hate even more than tan lines are the red marks the flip flops put on your feet when you break them in for the first time! This is why I go barefoot as much as possible.
