I noticed it has about 3 times as many vendors as users. I have been burned in the past by names affliated with a scam vendor useing a site like that to trick people. I sent payment to my vendor June 30th but there has been a major postal strike in their country. But all the news says mail service is back to normal. Has anyone had luck with Canadian mail recently, and has anyone real here used SOS? The vendor has a 9.5 rating and many good reviews.
I've had success with this vendor since the strike has ended, although I'm not too happy about the quality of the purchase. I ordered 2c-c from this vendor btw.
There are that many vendors because most of them are single-post vendors saying "Anyone use this one?", likely scam. Don't look at that number. Canada Post may have stopped striking but they now have literally millions of pieces of mail in their backlog that they are struggling to get through. I just recently received letters I was waiting for since june. Be patient, it's going to take a while, I've noticed that people outside of Canada who are affected by canadian vendors don't quite understand just how crazy this strike was. We had no mail for a month. Now they have to start sorting through it, while still keeping up with the new mail coming in. That is a LOT. Especially for government employees be patient
Thanks Writter, I was hoping it was just a mail back log and not a scam. I'm so hopeful to do my research.
What Mr Writer said! You can question new vendors with little feedback but this vendor is just having it's mail delayed like all the other mail in Canada. I've been waiting forever but I finally feel like in a couple weeks I'll finally get it.
To my knowledge it is Safe or Scam, a website used for checking out legit vendors but from what im getting it is actually a seperate company that sells RC's......a google search didnt turn up anything, anyone PM me to point me in the right direction?
SOS = www.safeorscam.com not a vendor. we are discussing SOS and various vendors connected with canadian mail system.
