Health Problems while using DXM?

Does anybody else get abdominal pain or have trouble breathing while on DXM or the days following a trip?

 

i do...i think its normal though.
im not sure but its happened to me in every trip iv had with dxm

 

Idk I have asthma so the trouble breathing kind of makes sense I just want to make sure I'm not causing any permanent damage or anything

 

dude its a cold medication, to be used when you have a cold..

These ridiculous complications wouldn't happen, if you took the shit as directed on the bottle.. Stop trying to take otc drugs to get high..

 

I had a coughing fit on DXM once. How fucked up is that?

 

I don't only take otc medications to get high, I enjoy the feeling of DXM and these things don't happen all the time only when I increase the frequency of use. and it's not only a cough medication it's also a psychadellic and a dissociative...

 

Dude im 41 fucking yrs old.. you think your going to tell me what it is. then your even more fucked in the head from it that I previously though..

 

Just because it's an otc med doesn't mean that I shouldn't use it to get high there is a lot worse shit out there to get high on.

I don't understand why it makes it hard to breathe isn't it supposed to be a decongestent?

 

Idk about permanent damage. I would think the danger (if there is one) is present only while you're on the drug. DXM increases heart rate, as much as double your resting rate, so I'd imagine that might be bad for someone with asthma. I've never had this problem and I don't have asthma.
