i have had prescriptions in the past, for minor things, but most of my opiate use is recreational.

Recreation, but can't get any. uptight Dr.'s and no dealers here. My dentist actually scripted me 3 lortab once. 3! i just dumped the bottle in my mouth the minute I got to my car. I have a tolerance for Lt. and never even had an Oxy, I'm SO jealous of some people on here that get scripts of it, or can find it elsewhere! I would really like to try the Roxy people talk of.

Kserah, Try taking a trip to florida.. take a bunch of cash.. they have more "pain clinics" then there are burger kings an mcdonalds i hear out there. its bassically where all the 30s come from in my state.. no legit doctor around my area is gona dish them out unless your in some severe pain, Ie cancer or on your death bed. but in florida i hear you can just tell them your ass hurts and they dish out 120 p30s at time.. maybe im wrong but.. in my case i just hit up the dealer.. im not gona hunt around for a doctor or any of that shit when i can make one phone call and have the shit in my hands within a half hour.. depending on what day and time it is of course..

some people on this forums and that i have heard from have said that the florida situation has fizzled out a little, but your right, in FL it is still really easy to get your hands on basically whatever you want if you have the cash. There seemed to be a little bit of a drought in the North East US last few months of pain pills, but recently people have been letting me know they are back in business, have scripts, etc. Shame i moved down south :(

Florida is not what it used to be. At the height of the OC epidemic, Pain clinics here in FL went Viral. You couldn't find a street that didn't have a Pain Clinic on it. That no longer exists. The DEA, working with state and local authorities in just about every major metroplitan area in FL, have more or less been swept clean. However, it wasnt that long ago where with each Pain Clinic that law busted and shut down, 2 would materialize. Those days are gone. With the new laws FL has passed recently, not only is it hard for out of state patients to get what they want, but local residents are feeling the pinch to include legitament pain patients who dont abuse are having to deal with increased scrutiny each time they visit their Dr or fill a script. The new perscription monitoring law along with how the DEA is monitoring how much of each drug each Dr perscribes makes it much harder to find what you want here in FL. While I wouldnt say its impossible to find a clinic to give you what you want, I personally wouldnt waste my time traveling all the way to FL. I now here TX is taking our place.

Used to be scripted to all kinds of opiate meds, from OC's(the original ones), Diuladid, Methadone,Fentanyl patches, Percocet 10's , Norco 10's, Demerol, etc..Now I am not in pain like I was after having the surgerys after my bad car wrecks, after 5+ years on pain meds, I had to resort to getting pills off people who sold some of their scripts, like $8-10 40 mg OC's (originals), $20 80mg OC original ones, etc..The past few years though it seems like most of the pain meds around here have gone way up in price and are very hard to find, people with scripts tend to hide out and not sell them, and the main pain med dealers either moved out of state and the other 2 I knew well got busted, so I only get pain meds very occasionaly now..But I notice that heroin has become more common among the people that I know that used to take pain pills, we have tar and SA powder heroin around, so it's cheaper to buy heroin than overpriced pills, when you can find heroin that is, latetly it has been going faster than it used too..

I am prescribed 30 x 8mg Suboxone each month but not for pain. I am on it as an experimental off-label use for treatment resistant bipolar disorder. It works better than any antidepressant, anti-mania-med, or antipsychotic (with the possible exception of Zyprexa), I have ever taken. I was able to bring my extraordinarily high doses of the Zyprexa and Effexor and Klonopin down to very small amounts due to the supplementation with Buprenorphine.

I totally agree. Also works for alcoholism. It's good for chronic pain relief. My girl and I split a 60X8mg. script each month. We got off every thing-pain meds, booze, anti-depressant and it doesn't effect weed use. No built up tolerance issue either. It's like a miracle drug. And insurance covers it except for the office visit. Got to be careful with the pee test. Havnt had any issues with the weed yet. I'll tell the doc. I need weed as a sleep aid.

Pretty much legitimate reasons. I take Tramadol for chronic back pain. It doesn't do a whole lot for the pain except take the edge off and making me thristy as hell all the time.

On them for actual pain but can't say I don't take them just to feel good every once in awhile.

Recreational mostly, sometimes I'll take them for headaches or hangovers. Those probably aren't very legitimate reasons

I can get 30mg codeine otc, but it's not cheap ($15 for 10) so I go to a neighboring country every now and then where I can get the exact same pills otc, 20 for $3,50. I can even get morphine otc there, but haven't bothered as it is expensive and I'm happy with codeine.

I like to get high that's about it. When I'm actually in pain usually I just sit through the pain cause at that moment I don't care much to get off my ass. My dealer lives a decent ways away so I usually only visit when I'm feeling physically okay.
