Light Beer

Hey Stonerz!!,

Im having a bbq this wknd,.. Im only going to purchase 1 case of light beer, and I need the input from a large crowd. Here are your options.. Thanks!

All those are gross...

MGD is better than lite, still both are nasty.
Bud light and budweiser are both nasty.
Coors is not that bad, still its better than coors light.

I'm going with michelob ultra, its by far the best.

Though if you want to have a great bbq i would buy a case of Mickeys 22oz malt liquor. I loved that mickey always came in a glass and not tin, taste good. Its one of my favorites and gets most people buzzed after just one. lol. I used to drink mickeys like it was water, that beer flowed in my blood 24/7 365 days a year, so maybe thats just me. Still though its good.

Depending on the size of the BBQ a few joints so every has a toke or few would kickass as well!

You could always try lemonade.

 

My grandmother use to drink Coors light. So once in a blue moon I will have one in honor of her. Miller light would be my favorite

 

haha, yes there will be non alcoholic beverages as well, there are going to kiddies coming as well!

Broony, thanks for your input! Im not a fan of the light beers myself, but I want to have something for everyone! Im expecting 20+ adults, and Im sure some will be bringing sum herbs!!!:2thumbsup:

bud light is the best up there...so if your getting one case thats enough for me what are you n everyone else gonna drink? seroulsy you,ll need mmore beer than one case unless your by yourself

coors was usually my drink of choice for parties and whatnot but then i discovered this lovely cheap ass beer at Trader Joe's. $4 for a 6 pack that contains 5.6 for pilsner and 6.2 for lager oh hell yeah please.

 

If you are concerned with the guests being like "oh you bought THAT beer." Then I would get some shit like Bud Light, Coors Light or Labbat Blue Light(actually good) to please them. But if I was going to tell you to just get a case for a bunch of like-minded folk, pick up Milwaukee's Best Light.

i don't get why people have it out for budweiser though. it's a cheap beer and is good for the price

I'm just kidding, of course you do. I know there are lots of micro breweries popping up here and there making real beer, but I'm afraid it's just not the same as the real stuff. I tried an american beer once in a specialist pub in holland, triple hopped IPA or something. It was alright, but you need the water too.

I drank the bud lite, miller lite and coors lite when I was in Florida in 1997, it's like three day old tennent's lager that someone has put through a soda stream. :ack2:

I also had the worst pint of Murphy's I have ever tasted in an irish pub in orlando.

I don't know how you guys get buy without proper beer and cheese, I really don't. I suppose the sun, medical marijuana and bikini wearing chicks on roller blades goes some way to making up for it though.

 

Miller Lite and Bud Light are like Pepsi and Coke Cola of the light beer world, i can barely taste the difference.

 

that Bud 66 thats just come out in the uk is good bbq beer. failing that just get on the Stella Atois and start a riot. :bobby:

Damn strait, can't believe i forgot the blue ribbon! It is the best! I could shotgun those boys all day.

 

If you're going for a light beer, get Southpaw Light.

 

tried this beer here the other weekend before we went to the game.. it was quite delicious.. not sure how wide spread it is.. as it's a micro brew in Cold Springs, MN.. Very mellow watermelon flavor.. not overwhelming..
