awesome. though they aren't on the list, i hope real monsters, rocko's modern life, recess, ren and stimpy, keenen and kel, sister sister there were loads they didn't mention, and they were fantastic. nickelodeon and disney suck now by comparison.

Nostalgics, nice! In about 10 years 20 year old kids will make the same thread but with the 'crap' they grew up with.
I dunno guys.... I don't JUST like my generations stuff. I like very specific things from a long time before I was born, and dislike specific things from that same period, and like specific things from when I was a kid, and dislike specific things from that same period.... And I think nickolodeon had a golden period, like so many things, and then became fucking stupid. And they did plenty of stupid things that I hated when I was a kid too..... FUCK slime. That was the stupidest shit ever. And I still like a select few shows and cartoons, and consider lots to be complete and utter bullshit. But some of what I do consider to be good cartoons includes nicktoons from my childhood, when they incorporated specific stylistic techniques, story techniques, animation techniques, etc.
I actually don't think iCarly is all that bad... Hey Arnold was awesome though. It's still one of the only shows that isn't about white middle class kids. There was an anime show from the 90's called Escaflowne which I LOVED when I was a kid.
