I don't know how anyone can drink it. Does anyone actually think the stuff tastes good? I used to drink but only to get drunk, I never liked the taste of anything alcoholic.
Alcohol is so varied, so the only way I can answer the question is; the stuff I like tastes good, and the stuff I don't tastes bad.
The drinks I used to enjoy most masked the flavor of alcohol best. It isn't alcohol that flavors beers and ales- or even wines... which used to be my drinks of choice. These days my first drink will instigate a migraine about half the time so it's a very rare occasion that I drink at all now. I imagine my liver to be thankful for this.
I dont like the taste at all...and alcohol gives me hives and rashes but I do still drink once in a while for the effects i find that beer and wine tastes like mold and mildew..I have to close my nose and chug usually
Always drank to get drunk. I think this becomes implanted into a lot of peoples minds without them even knowing it, the true power of the poison so heavily promoted. I honestly don't think people would drink 95% of all alcohol beverages if it didn't get them drunk. A lot of people might not agree. But if a bottle of Jack Daniels, or Miller Lite, or whatever was on the shelf to buy and drink and had NO effect on you. Do you people really think they would still buy it and think "yum this is really delicious!" I doubt it.
No I mean all of it. Anything that contains alcohol contains the taste of alcohol, obviously. If you dislike alcohol you're gonna dislike anything with it in it.
I just did some spiced Rum shoots, didnt taste to bad. I havent drank it like that really before. In mixed drink cant taste it at all.. 80poof is kinda weak..
I think a lot of alcohol is nasty, but I also think it's kind of an acquired taste. I love love love 7-Up or Coke mixed with Jack Daniels, but I've gotten sick on just about everything but Jack, so I have a hard time drinking any other kind of liquor. I love love love "bitch beers", though. They just fill me up way too quick to really get drunk.
I like the expensive micro brews. When I drink them I make sure the label's pointed at John or Jane Q cheap beer drinker so they can see I'm better than them.
I like the taste of alcohol, and make my own at home. When I drink hard liquor I never use mixers or chasers to mask the taste, and I have a special hatred for syrupy sweet mixers. Of course, I only buy good quality booze.
Well after my fourth or fifth time to the bottle and back I really don't care anymore. But for the first 3, yes its terrible.
I am one of the few whom agrees with you. I don't like alcohol. It's not a moral thing, people around me can drink or get high all they want and I'll drink with buddies for the buzz, but I don't like the taste, I'd rather have coffee, juice, tea, or almost anything else taste wise.
I don't really care for the taste of strong alcohol, like when your glass smells like straight rubbing alcohol. But mixed drinks like sex on the beach or grateful deads are almost 100% alcohol (if made right ) and they're delicious. I absolutely LOVE most beers, and I love a lot of fruity mixed drinks, I can handle four lokos (they're so gross but so worth it if you can get the whole thing down..) but wine is something that I can definitely do without.
