what did you find works best?
I tried to do it twice yesterday but i didn't filter much, not nearly the amount of powder that went in.

my concern is that the powder just ends up collecting on the bottom(like within 5 mins of being in freezer), but its not a "crystal" its just wet powder.. makes me want to shake it up but that would be counterproductive wouldnt it? As long as all the powder is dissolved when i put it in the freezer/fridge I should be ok right? I fear that the opiate is collecting on the bottom with the powder, am i trippin? once its in the water will it stay dissolved while cooling?

I want to do a CWE on 8 5/500 vics right now, would it be best to just put them in the fridge for a long time? with the freezer i think i left it in too long, there were ice crystals on the side of the cup.

It seems like you may not understand the procedure..
You just want it to be as cold as possible without being frozen at all.
After everything's dissolved and frosty you pour the solution through a coffee filter, cheesecloth, or something to that effect. You should have a milky solution, but most of the actual powder should now be left in the filter. The wet powder in the filter is the APAP (what you don't want). The water now contains the opiate. You can do this several times if you feel it necessary.

does it matter how long i leave the solution in the fridge for?
i want to leave it in the fridge over night so it can be ready in the morning, does anyone see any problem with this?
