The PKK is a socialist organization. The Turks fear ANYTHING that they deem "leftist". Kurds are a people with a distinct identity but they no longer have a nation of their own. Their country once covered about half of Turkey, parts of Syria and Armenia, all of Northern Iraq and eastern Iran. They want their ancestral lands back. The news is too busy finding out what Ron Paul had for breakfast and what feminine products Hillary is using. You never hear about Darfur anymore...

They may have been US weapons but more than likely old Soviet stuff. Turkey was one of those countries who played both sides of the Cold War. Soviet cast offs were more plentiful and much, much cheaper.

Oh, go ahead. Whack that hornet's nest.

Those who control this world couldn't be happier. You run the maze they've built for you as they sit back and watch.

    Life is so predictable.

US / NATO relies on Turkish Ikurkik air base to support the Iraq war.

so we are pretty much dependent on Turkish good will.

Yeah Gardner, I remember the abuse of Kurds being one of the reasons for Iraq
They were smacked around for years during the Saddam dictatorship; while The US was deaing with Saddam the Kurds were suffering.

Seems while Western media champion statehood for Palistine; Kurdistan is the forgotten orphan.

hello all . i want to somethings about kurdish people and turkey . Kurdish people had not parts of turkey or other countries anytime . Only they want to establish their country in parts of turkey and other countries . Do you think is it lawful? Turkish people dont regard as bad persons all turkish people . but they have really bad person sometimes . Kurdish public have terrorist group . PKK or PPK-Kongregel. They bomb everywhere in turkey as suicide bomber or heavy guns. they kill so much innocent people who are turkish , kurdish maybe german or different countries people. Turkey bombs only their terrorist group because they want to divide turkey and other countries . i think you should consider that . Turkey is true or PKK is true ?

They will do almost half wrong and half right. Half wrong is for that in the attack in Afghanistan they have killed lots of innocent people. and half right is for that they killed terrorist so that it happen.
