Good for you making each other happy. Just out of curiosity if I may ask, how does that work? Does she have a vagina that was created or still a penis? Either way, try not to be too hurt, people have a hard time dealing with things that in their perception change a lot about you. I disagree with posters who tell you to just forget friends who didn't get it, distance yourself while they deal with it, but give them time to realize you're still the same person.

Female transsexuals can resemble genetic women, but usually only if they started taking female hormones and testosterone blockers at the onset of puberty. As this means the body will grow more in line with how a female's would during puberty instead of of a male's. Its only been quite recently that some young transsexuals have been allowed to do this in some parts of the world. So really, the only chance most female transsexuals have of resembling genetic women, is if they start the transitioning process pre-puberty. If it's left till after puberty, most of the secondary male sex characteristics from puberty are impossible to reverse, and so it's much harder to come across as a genetic female then.

I actually have female chromosomes, and she looks more like a genetic female than I do! lol I'm amazed that she's transsexual, because she doesn't appear to have any male features at all. Im definitely jealous..
