[All of the following events, details, persons and actions are purely fictional and are intended for entertainment purposes only.] The following entails my first experience with LSD. I have been a heavy cannabis user for the past two years and i have experimented with Alcohol, Cannabis, Psilocybin Mushrooms (Magic Mushrooms), DXM (OTC Cough Syrup), Kava-Kava, Kratom, Nitrous Oxide, Diphenhydramine (Benadryl), 5-HTP, Nutmeg, Hydrocodone (Vicodin), Codeine-Promethazine (Prescription Cough Syrup), Amphetamine Salts (Adderall), LSA (Morning Glory Seeds), and Alprazolam (Xanax). Setting: The middle of my favorite land preserve next to a large weathered tree (who will fondly be referred to as "Mother Tree") located in a sea of grass. Time: Between the hours of 10:00 PM and 1:00 PM 10:00- I and a close friend by the name of Smiley arrived at Mother Tree. We sat and talked with three interesting individuals who had arrived hours earlier to enjoy a smoke session on a beautiful night, when i was offered a seat in rotation i politely declined and said that i would like to keep my head clear because i will be going on my first acid trip, at this point they departed either being scared off by my mention of LSD or by the setting of the sun. 10:30- I went off to gather firewood as Smiley quickly roasted a bowl and kept watch over our campsite and my possessions, when i returned both he and i went out on two more trips to gather firewood, he seemed to forget that i was not stoned and grew impatient with my determination to gather plenty of wood. 10:48- I placed a single acid blotter of what i had been informed of as good quality acid on my tongue. The blotter art had been that of Albert Hoffmans infamous bike ride, the tab was of the corner of the artwork containing part of the moon and a star. I let the tab sit on my tongue and inside of my lower gums for 5 minutes or so and then chewed on it for a while until i eventually swallowed it 10 minutes or so later. 10:48\11:00- Smiley and i listened to psychedelic trance as we talked and laid underneath mother tree, i felt small surges of excitement which i attributed to a placebo affect and/or excitement. 11:20- I first began to feel the affects of the acid, i felt as if a very low voltage current was passing through my body. I felt energized and far more clear minded then i thought i would have. The night became much more vivid then it previously was. The field, brush line, tree line, horizon and sky all became much more distinct and noticeable. 11:40\12:20- The sounds of the crickets and insects were almost deafening, instead of evening background noise the sounds of the night were at my full attention, i was afraid to make a sound for fear of interrupting the distinct calls of each insect. I would hear one cricket chirp and then hear a distinctively different cricket respond with its own message that i interpreted as a mating call, i listened to the insects talk and gather until my own feeling of euphoria distracted me. I felt extremely peaceful and serene yet i had not seen any distinct closed or open eyed visuals. The ground seemed to breath and swell but it was not persistent nor distinct. 12:30- I sat in the light of the fire feeling a distinct pressure on my teeth, spine and lower body. The stars seemed far brighter then they ever had before. Not a single cloud was in the sky. Suddenly i began to notice distinct open eye visuals. Everything seemed to strobe with subtle light and energy, the sky began to move in a fluid motion as if it was a great pinpricked celestial sheet being ruffled back and forth. The horizon was strobing with pulses of subdued light. I became intensely aware of a deer or other mammal grassing in the distance. The insects continued theyre deep disscussions. I noticed an intense sound, or lack there of, the sound of cars on a distant road had ceased and i could hear the slow slumber of society. 12:40- My spine, my mind and my body became distinct entities, every thought that went through my mind made so much more sense. 1:00- Everything took on a feeling of ineffability, i knew that this experience would be impossible to describe in detail. As i laid in the tall grass under the stars i felt the true magnitude of the universe. Each star pulsed between colors of white, blue, green and red. I stared at the sky for so long that i witnessed at least 4 shooting stars throughout the night. The horizon continued to emit a powerful radiating ambiance. 1:30- As i feed wood into the fire i began to feel as if it was its own unique elemental creature. As more wood was fed into it it grew larger and if it was not fed it would shrink and wither. i cracked two high powered camping glowsticks and stood in the middle of the field as i twirled them and watched the brilliant neon tracers that they left. The trails of light were 10X more brilliant then if they had been viewed sober. I now understood why LSD had such great potential as a therapeutic drug. I had never felt as at one with my self, with nature, and with the true beauty of the universe. 2:00- I once again sat under Mother Tree and felt stripped of all that had once made up reality, in the early morning i began to feel more in touch with myself then i ever had before. I felt and as i type this 3 days later still feel more in touch with my soul then ever before. 3:00/5:00- Moments of divine realization became blurred with long sessions of standing in the field twirling around my glow-sticks listening to music that i had never heard so brilliantly and powerfully. Eventually Smiley woke up after falling asleep around 1:00. I sat by the fire and talked with him and watched the shadows from the fire morph his facial features into those of a far from human creature. 6:30- I sat and watched the sun rise, never had i seen so many beautiful morphing colors splayed out against the sky. I relized that that night had been one of the single most powerful moments in my entire life. 7:30\9:00- I drove to a park near the land preserve and went longboarding for hours, i felt wide awake despite not eaten nor slept at all that night or that morning. 9:00\1:00- I returned home in a sore but elated stupor, i showered and laid on the couch most of the day. Unable to sleep until that night. All in all my experience with LSD was the most powerful experience with any drug i had ever had and further more was also the most powerful spiritual journey as well. I will continue to look back on that most majestic of evenings and i hope to dance again very soon with Lucy in that ever so beautiful stroboscopic sky of neon flashing diamonds.
this is fantastic! reminds me of a few of my own experiences, and the strobing light thing happens all the time, i feel as though it is your eyes adjusting to see beyond the veil. anyways this report is very well written and isnt too wordy and very straight to the point.
