Fuck paying, learn how to doctor shop! 1) Go to the doctors 2) Fake anxiety/panic attack symptoms 3) See a psych if thats what the doctors wants/try another doctor if thats too much effort 4) You now have a prescription for benzos this does not always work as many doctors will want to prescribe you SSRI mind control drugs so that you become more docile but if you make up some bullshit about how you have tried many & none worked, complain about the side effects & say they did very little to help your anxiety then they may prescribe you some type of benzo, if they give you some shitty temazepam or something just wait a month or so go back to the same docs & claim they did not work either. By then you would hope to have xanax or at least on the path to it! Im not sure how well this workes over in the USA but these tactics work quite well over here in Australia if you have the time & patience.
I went through a 'benzo spell' many years ago. At that point, the only drugs I had tried were Cannabis and alcohol. It was the 'beginning' of my 'troubled times' (ie: when I came down with Schizoaffective Disorder in the beginning of college), and my psychiatrist said he was putting me on 'Klonopin' for my out-of-control anxiety (which it really was). I had no idea what it was, so after looking it up and finding that it was a C-IV, I became excited. I spent the next 8 months or so totally in love with Klonopin. I would really get some good highs off of it and life was better. Then, my illness got worse, and I lost interest in getting high for a couple of years since I was simply trying desperately to keep myself out of the psychiatric ward. Then, in my junior year of college, I discovered Hydrocodone.... From then on, it is history haha. I still take Klonopin- I lowered my dose, though, from 4mg per day to 1mg per day. It still gets me 'high', but after tasting the fruit of the gods in the form of opioids and amphetamines, it just isn't the same. But I won't forget the good old benzo days.
i really would love to get prescribed... maybe in a couple of years. really can't do it right now. ya if the opportunity presents itself you should try them, but be warned them can be verrryyy dangerous if you take to many or you have a crazy low tolerance to them and you fuck up. you can forget everything you do on them and sometimes thats a bad fucking thing.. also do not fucking drive on them. you will fuck up.
it is amazing how a doctor will put you on any pill in the book before xanax- basically my parents have sabotaged my life (and as I'm currently financially bound to them I'm out of options at the moment)- the "allowance" I'm givin is barely enough to make a small amount of poor middies last a month, and so my PTSD has been utterly out of control, as they are also doing an effexor detox at the same time which has been really making me go into panic attacks- so my MOTHER told my psychatrist to call her first, told him NOT to prescribe me any benzos bec I had explained to her once how I prefer weed over benzos b/c imo its safer and bc the benzos tend to kill my weed buzz, but as I do not have the funds for weed, my PTSD and effexor taper is making me terribly unsound- so my psych. calls today and after saying hes terrified to give me what I requested- simply a fast acting benzo for my anxiety attack as I have NEVER been mentally addicted to them (and I've been on every benzo BUT xanax), he said he's terrified of giving me any b/c after a talk w my mother, he said he know's it will kill my pot high and I tried explaining to him how I don't have the amount or quality of pot to sustain during this time for upheaval, especially as I am not getting any help for my PTSD as this therapist my family found is a total sham- she wont even work on my PTSD until I stop smoking pot- what the FUCK?! Now, my mom says, "my crazy behavior is causing her health problems"- so what does she do? Calls the psych. back, and now he's put me back on a DAILY routine of valium, less than before (from 6 a day to 3), but that's NOT what I wanted , I wanted a fast acting benzo as needed for panic attacks, not a steady diet of something that is more addictive and risky than my simple pot. I'm so depressed. PLUS he also perscribed me a high grade benzo sleeping pill on top- jesus christ. When does this insanity fucking stop?
Not a big fan of benzos. I can buy 10mg valium for $0.30 and 5mg xanax for $0.60 a pop, otc. But I just think they are shit, and I always feel really heavy the next day. I'd much rather do some opiates or smoke a doobie.
god damn you guys have it made. benzos that cheap. i'd kill to have that. maybe it's just me but i don't aim for the best high i can possibly get (weird right?) but rather what makes me feel most right (i don't know it's hard to explain most comparably to self medication) since i do have rather bad anxiety but don't really feel like talking to people about it. just the other day i was driving and taking directions and was so flustered i almost ended up blowing a red light and just could not wait until i was out of the car. i mean i was even going to pick up xanax and when i got it i just felt immensely better. now it certainly is not my DOC but it is up there.. oh and the xanax was $7.00 for a 2mg bar.. ya bullshit i only ended up getting one but seeing what kind of deal i can get cut for 60-80 bars. anybody got a good hook up in the chicago suburbs? hahahaha. TNS i hope that if you sell those you don't go too hard on the buyers and if they're all personals well then you sir are a very lucky man/woman (idk)
^ how old are you? i get 120 1mg klonopin a month. With refill after refill after refill. Yeah man, benzos can be fun, but when you have SERIOUS anxiety issues like many of us, they sadly become something you take, for your health and not for the high. Sure i can eat a handful and get real high of em, i sometimes do, but they got old fast, and they are addictive, and ahhhhh idk. just dont bother paying so much for that drug mang. Smoke some weed.

As many have said here that have taken them medicinally for years, the benzo 'high' (if you want to call it such a thing) gets old realllll quick. I enjoyed benzos for about eight months, and for the four years since then, I haven't even attempted to use them recreationally at all. I pretty much just take one 1mg Klonopin at night to fall asleep. I rarely even need them for anxiety attacks anymore since I am on more effective anxiolytics (or at least they are for me...) of Dextroamphetamine and Buprenorphine! Now, THOSE will get you high.
old enough to get a hold of a lot of drugs if i wanted, but not old enough to get prescribed..seventeen to be exact. i mean i don't really try to get a "high" from benzos but rather to help my anxiety. in truth they really do help me. remember taking some before varsity choir try outs and it was the best i have ever done. i really don't like taking a shit ton of xanax like some of my friends so happen. if you've ever done enough you know how it is to wake up wondering what happened the night before. hate that feeling and granted it happened once i never want it to happen again. in fact when i take them i am much more calm and able to talk without being all nervous of what will be said.. i don't really know if anybody else feels like this.... and to hahaha04 i would have much rather bought some weed but my town is dry right now... doesn't even make sense how heroin is easier to get in this town then it is to get some good bud. oh and not too sure if theres an age requirement here so sorry if i'm "too young" to be on here
