Glad you made this thread...I had a crackhead squirrel outside my house last week so I decided to make a video of him. the first an third vids were my favorites.the little squirrel throwin' dirt is really gutsy.the rest are nice too.except the one where the cat killed the squirrel.a cat will be a cat,but whoever was standin' behind that camera taking it, must have rocks for a heart.that poor little squirrel.
I've seen a few squirrels do that in my time, I thought maybe it's a mating call? Some sort of call out to the other squirrels? lol look at her chuckin' those nuts! Crazy lady!
Two winters ago I was feeding the local squirrels for over a month while there was three f'ing feet of snow on the ground. When spring finally arrived I noticed some of the squirrels did not automatically run away when I walked in my back yard. I certainly did not try to touch one of the filthy little tree rats or pick one up but I got within just a few feet of them before I stopped getting closer.
Same Thing Happens Daily In The Human Race.... Two Guys In A Pub......Whilst Watching A Footy Game On T.V...... A Fight Breaks Out....... A Few Minutes Later They Are Shaking Hands And Buying Each Other A Beer...:willy_nilly:. Crazy Behaviour Is Not Confined To Squirrels.... Cheers Glen.
if you were feedin' them in your backgarden,they probably got kinda used ta seein' ya.or else they might have mistook ya for one a those very clean, extremely intelligent little rat animals and felt safe enough with ya.well,whatever the case your food got em through the winter.
