Can't stand zoos at all, if animals could you think they would want to visit a human prison? Probably not! I got the tools to break any metal cage and free them all, but i'm going to need some serious help getting the sea life out. We should rally countries together to free all the animals!
That would be quite entertaining to have all the animals from the zoos running around in freedom- lions, crocodiles and others could help reduce the overpopulation problem.
do u think they're that unhappy ? of course it's unnatural to keep animals in cages, but i suppose they get used to being fed by human beings and after a while they wouldn't be able to survive in the wild. i see your point though. i'll help when we're twelve we can call ourselves the army of the twelve monkeys?
I have a truck to lug the whales back to sea... The only thing I think is good about the zoos is that they do care for the endangered species that are dying out in the wild. To free most of the zoo animals would be a disaster, though, because most of them were bred in captivity.
Imagine being in your room unable to ever leave and the walls are all windows with thousands of eyes staring and fingers pointing at you all day. You sit their wondering how that person can put so many chips and dip in their face and still talk. Then a zookeeper throws you some food and the day repeats.
Animals in a zoo were raised there, and have more money spent on them then you probably do. Free them so they can see how shitty our human society really is. I think in the zoo they atleast see small cross-sections of humans. But not fully understanding the fact that an elephant can't get a job anywhere in town is a factor.
This is the only good i can see in zoos. Thing is you can't train any animal to survive in the wild once its spent half its life in a cage. Yes you have saved the species but its now domesticated. Tough problem to fix.
I am more against things like animals being used in circus' and for that kind of entertainment than being kept in a zoo. There are many wildlife parks, which don't cage up animals which is of course much better. I remember being little and asking a zoo keeper why the animals were locked up, and the only answer he gave me was to prevent endangered animals from completely dying out. The answer satisfied me at that age.
circus's are just as bad tipsy.anything that take their rights away.what the zoo keeper forgot ta tell you is that zoos are mainly about financial profit.its all about money to them.zoos and circuses.they could'nt care less about the emotional and mental wellbeing of the animals.:2thumbsup:
i know ya did.was just sayin' i feel the same bout circuses too.and no obviously not.of course he was'nt going ta get inta a make financial profit conversation with a kid.my point was even if you were an adult at the time he probably would'nt have anyway.
One reason I love going to the Jungle is the chance meeting of animals in their own habitat. Haven't yet seen a Jaguar, once found fresh tracks (guide said 15 minutes old). He explained that Jaguars were real curious and that he was probably watching us. Made the rest of the hike more intense.
Freeing all the animals from the zoo would not help. They would get recaptured and those that do not will do things like walk into oncoming traffic and get killed, or get shot by police or people that are placed in threatening situations, or not get found soon enough and starve in the "wild" because they are almost exclusively bred in captivity and would not know how to fend for themselves. You would be doing more harm then good, sorry. I do not mean its not tragic, however freeing all the animals will not solve the problem.
true.thing is they should never have been takin' out a the wilds in the first place or the fishes from the seas.i'd hate ta be a goldfish.from a whole ocean of freedom ta a little glass bowl.
I feel that the animals would want to actually LEAVE the cage, but would return if they did not die off because of a silly situation like a car hitting them^^^, ode to who ever above. Once they saw what else was outside, they would most likely return to the zoo for food. It would be a great thing to see which animals could thrive and perhaps adapt.
I can't help but wanting to free them. Even when i see my neighbors dog in a small 10x15ft yard i want to free him/her and take them with me on the hike or walk!
