Okies ladies n gents,

Would you have sex to music, certain song on repeat? if so what is it?

If not, why? does it put you off?

 

I always have sex to music. I create a playlist with an artist that has meaning for both of us and I choose the most sensual songs from that artist. Then I have the playlist on repeat.

I love merging sex with music because the changing rhythm and pace of the music can stimulate and exacerbate the frenzied movements of lovemaking.

Music is just very raw and primal so it goes very much with sex.

I hate to say what artists because I think it depends on the partner and I would not choose the same music for each partner. Music should be special to the couple.

In the past, I've probably used Prince music the most because my lovers have been Purpleheads. But I've also used Lenny Kravitz, Marvin Gaye, Duffy, Maxwell, etc.

 

it puts me in the mood so much. i just put on an artist that corelates to me and the persons relationship or style and it totally turns me on. in every aspect.

No specific artist or song, certainly nothing on repeat, that would get annoying.

 

Honestly i usually don't notice the music, because well, i'm busy elsewhere, but i've met some guys who evidently loved putting good music on when things were getting hot, which i thought was cute.
One guy insisted on putting on Marvin Gaye's "Let's get it on". He had previously sent me the song when we were just flirting, then the first time we had sex he put it on again. funny

Ed Alleyne-Johnson is really cool man. Inspired me to take up violin a few years ago. I'm not very good though, have to keep stopping my lessons due to my line of work gets busy.

I would say I prefer it to be off, I get easily distracted by music. Music which I don't like makes me kind of pissed off and music which I do like makes me want to dance and sing more than fuck. I'm the sort of person that finds it hard to hold a conversation with music on, especially if it's loud. I can't turn my ears away from it and become absorbed in what I'm doing, I'm too busy listening. I can't even not listen when it's music I hate, which just annoys me even more.

Plus - it's so cliched and cringeworthy! I can't believe people take themselves seriously when they play music to have sex to! This is not a film, you are not a character in a film, this is not a sex scene in a film!!!

 

I get what you're saying but I don't think anyone here is saying that they have to put music on every time they have sex. It's just cool in certain moments. If you've had an especially cool day and evening with your chick, then you end the night by coming home and lighting a few candles and putting on some music at a low volume and fuck.

Also not to be rude but not everyone has the distraction issue you mentioned.
It's not about taking yourself seriously, it's just a mood thing.
