i do, and i feel fine with this, if i didn't, i would not post on the hip forums! the fact that only an insignificant minority of the girls I, ehm, frequented, loved to stay barefoot beyond what is considered socially acceptable didnt bother me though. some others even made a lot of fuss over my perpetual lack of shoes. i didnt care either... i always turn my head after some nice barefooted girl because i just find them hot and i know some men doing the same, and talking about it too, who are notBF'ers and woud never show themselves bf around. psychologists have a name for just about everything so i don't care how they are going to label me this month to place me in their pathetic boxes.

there is a lot of people drooling over women's shoes as well. bukowski was one, he wrote about his little 'addiction' to high heels and stockings and female underwear. and this is called ...? if we start naming all the things turning us on (or off: to name some i don't like stilettoes, i sincerely hate nail polish, i find shaven armpits to be weird stuff and i have contempt for make up in general) and why they affect us i fear it's going to be a long ride. at the end we will find that normality is really an empty word.

(i googled around and found that some screwball even managed to devise a treatment , inclusive of drugs and hypnosis, to reverse this situation. i do believe that anyone even thinking to undo other people's tastes by means of drugs needs to be sealed in a pig iron crate and dumped in the fucking mariana trench :) . it is like using dynamite to keep mosquitoes away.
XVIII century writer Restif de la Bretonne is credited for being the one associated with Retifism (not a-), which includes 'shoe worship'. he is in the same club with de sade and masoch, eponymous heroes of the respective passions. great century)

I enjoy the freedom and comfort of going barefoot. What is 'socially acceptable' is a fluid definition that changes over time. Sadly, going barefoot in stores, malls, streets, etc. has fallen out of style over the years:(. I admire those who are comfortable being themselves (within reason) and have the courage of their own self-expression such as going barefoot.

This being said, if a male is comfortable in high heels, stockings and panties he should go for it:2thumbsup:. Why should females be the only ones to enjoy such styles and comforts? If a woman with unshaven pits and legs wearing only high heels and smoking a cigar approached me I would embrace her and who knows what we could do together:devil:?

    Be comfortable being yourself!

It is a big deal for me. And it is pretty comforting that there is a name for it.

I would have never considered it sexual until Tim Minchin came along.

i'd say its more sexual ta people who dont see bare feet often.ta people that do, its just another normal beautiful part of the overall human body.

I can relate to this a bit. Love seeing a barefoot chick. But then again a wicked pair of heels can look awesome too. Guess I have a thing for legs and feet... But so what? I dont get why there has to be a special name for finding feet attractive...

precisely!thats what i dont get.it's like something that is already natural and normal and has been since humans began.like ta be walkin' around in barefeet is something that needs another name put on it.like its some kind of rareity or somethin'.

It might have something to do with many being funny bout feet in general that they feel they have to give it a name. Some people can be so coy about their feet its silly! Like just today i wore shorts n flip flops to work (no dress code on fridays! :)) an i still get the occasional funny look around town... Like they never seen some feet before! But i dont mind, just makes me laugh to be honest!

    Nope.

I like seeing people barefoot ("+1 awesome"), but conversely, when it comes to females, high heels are an instantaneous turn-off if I was attracted to them, utterly. Modern form of Chinese foot binding, that... Ylech.

I can definitely relate. For me, a barefoot woman just looks more naturally beautiful.
