I have been clean for several months, still paranoid, used car paranoia question.

Over a year and a half ago i was charges with several different possession charges for carrying drugs to a festival.

Now with that said i have been clean for several months and i am currently participating in drug court and i have no intentions on messing that up. AT ALL!

I just recently bought a used car and being in drug court has made me so paranoid that i am afraid to go to an all day concert tomorrow an hour from my house because i feel that my used car may have drugs hidden in it from previous owners. I know that sounds extremely ridiculous, but i serously am going to cavity check the car before i leave tom morning. Even take off door panels ect. OR else i feel i will be super paranoid. It sucks being paranoid when your genuinely trying to do the right thing.

What are the chances used cars have drugs hidden in them that were put their and forgotten about or whatever the reason may be??

I know it is not common but i have read stories about it happening, including keith richards autobiography where he mentions selling a car that had drugs in the door panels that he forgot about. Why would people do that?!?!?

 

I think that if you didn't buy your car from Keith Richards you should be reasonably safe.

 

Drugs are worth money, that's like stashing money in your car and giving it to someone.

I doubt it..
