Here's some pictures. I just left this guy in the woods as a little sprout 2 months ago and never checked on it. I was pumped to find this today! It's little but its a female. Anyone know how big this will get? The best thing is the satisfaction of making my own bud. Considering its August 10th and the plant is about 2 - 2.4 months old, how much more bud might it be expected to produce? I didn't think this would fit into the grow journal section because it's just one plant, and not really a "grow" so much as a plant that I let grow on it's own. It's almost like I found it

I dunno mate but well done for a first try. Its hard to get a scale of the size. If its outside in the woods why not dig out a metre square hole,fill with great soil, small pebbles and organic fertilizer? Just wait and see mate. the plant can only grow as big as its root mass will allow. Keep it up man and keep us posted! :2thumbsup:
It's just bagseed, but the bud it came from was very good. There was just a single seed in the whole 1/8th. From smoking it and looking at the leaves I'm guessing it's either 50/50 or an indica dominated hybrid? The plant is between 18 and 24 inches tall; there's probably 1 gallon of soil in that pot. Maybe later in the week I will move it to a larger pot. Some of my pics make it look bigger than it is since there's nothing to scale it with. It's really awesome that I just had one seed and got a female this far along already. This is a huge confidence boost towards what I can do next year with some actual effort.
plants usualy get taller in early bud.I've had sat. dominant plants get alot of stretch making them very tall and I've had indicas with little or no stretch. Primarily long veg cycle(starting them early outdoors)with large rootmass in big containers gives you large plants. How much budweight you get on plant is very dependent on genetic predisposition and size of plant/rootmass. maturation and finishing times are also dependant on genetics/strain. I like stabilized or inbred lines(IBL)when working with seeds so I get fairly consistant results. You can even get more consistant results with cloning. Once you notice that your budds fill-out watch your trichomb production(frostines)develop. try and keep your buds dry to prevent bud mold-good air flow indoors. You will notice that ,with a magnifying glass/loop, trichombs will turn from clear to cloudy to amber and fanleaves will die and pistal hairs shrivel-up~then dry until stem snapps. then cure them 30 days making sure buds are completely dry to prevent bud mold(paper bag works well)this will take away green grass clipping smell and let the flavor come through.seen alot of my friends bagseed comeout way better than the bud it came from. Check out greggor mendal and punnet squares it will explain the basic principles of genetics and the probibility of inheritance.cannabis pests/diseases prevention/treatment & the importance of PH & nutrient deficiency might be of interest to you also males will have clusters that look like grapes or bannanas before the flowers open. remove these plants if you don't want seeds in your buds.
