Anonymous Plans Attack on Facebook - Facebook Down Today!

    Anonymous has released a statement announcing their intent to attack Facebook on November 5th, but apparently some are not waiting as Facebook has been down part of today. It might be due to Facebook's request for hackers to try and hack the site, or some new features they're testing or to Anonymous hacks.

    Some Anonymous are not getting involved in this Operation Facebook. (perhaps they don't want to lose their facebook pages, eh?)

    In any case, here is their press release:

    That's the beauty and power of this group - the left hand disavows while the right hand takes action. It's sort of like that handy little phrase in your credit card agreement that reads "We reserve the right to change the terms of this agreement at any time". How else could you fight against a system that allows such agreements to exist?

    yeah.. see if they can bring it down for more than a few hours..

    how bout trying to figure out where the headquarters is, open up an underground conduit, cut it with a industrial concrete cutter.. Fuck son a thunder storm takes out digital networks longer than Anon..

    I hope they take it down. Facebook is a place for friends to gossip about each other and possibly get addicted to (being on fb all day). I think it's pointless. Then again it can be helpful. If they really do sell/give away info, then I REALLY want them to kick the shit out of FB.
