    From the informatioon i have seen, It is benificial. its more a matter of how much for most people. I think recolonizing the bacteria in your digestive tract is probably only nessecary after a serrilous illness, or a span with poor diet. Never the less I don;t think it would hurt, and I made an effort to consume more fermented dairy products when I was sick in Australia. It seemed to help me process the new foods i consumed there.
