Does anyone like to observe the changing of the moon? I feel a certain energy sometimes when the moon is full (good or bad) and when its a new moon or close to it like now I feel sort of drained.

The new moon represents setting goals and sending intention out into the universe. As the moon gets full it represents the gradual progress of fulfilling your goals and intentions.

I'm still struggling to understand the waning of the moon. (When its getting less full)

Anyone else into the spiritual aspect of the moon?

I think we all feel a deep connection to the moon, to the night, and to the sun, but I usually chalk those things up to evolutionary backdraft.

I don't think you can delete threads though

All my life, I've gotten a surge of wild, primal energy at the turn of Night, like a switch went off. My goal to connect fully to this Natural, primal state prompted my screen name.

Any Pagans, Wiccans, Native Americans, New Ager's who attach specific meaning to the moon and its cycles?

For me the full moon is the culmination of creative energy. The new moon is when I try to send out my intentions to the Universe then as the moon gets fuller these intentions grow like a seedling maturing at the full moon.

I'm still trying to figure out the waning of the moon (as it gets smaller.) I think it may be a period of reaping, like the fall; reaping what was sowed (the intentions) at the new moon and what came to maturity at the full moon, until the new moon comes around again and its time to sow.

    Anyone else?
