-If a woman is with a guy and someone asks her if she's married and she says 'No. my b/f is commitment phobic we'll proably end up marrying when were 80'. What does that mean? -Is that same woman likely to leave her b/f if someone tells her they're in love with her and wants to marry her or just generally try to woo her and get her to leave her boyfriend?
It means that she has a bf, and that the bf is commitment phobic. Implying that she would want to marry him but that in the end it doesnt really matter if she doesnt, she'll still stay with him until they're very old. I dont think proposing to her would make her want to leave her bf. Plus what would it say about her, that all she wants in life is to be married, not caring who her husband is? Now u can always express that u like her. If the feeling is mutual maybe she'll end up leaving her bf for u.
but wouldn't she be thinking 'why is he commitement phobic' or 'if he really loved me then why is he commitment phobic?'
She works in a public library and that's the only place i've ever spoke to her. I had to ask her if she was married 'cause she was wearing what looked like a wedding ring and so i just straight up asked her so that i knew once and for all and could stop thinking about asking her out.
Thats cute. If i were u i would simply give up, cuz she's got a bf and personally i dont go after pple who are taken. But im not u and i guess it would be acceptable for u to tell her u like her, regardless of the fact that she has a bf. Its always nice to receive positive attention, and who knows, maybe she'll have left her bf for whatever reason next time u talk to her.
I've just fallen for her too hard and well, I hate talking about 'signals' but I've been sure she's been given me a few signals over the yrs. since i first went in there and I'm wondering when she actually started going out with this guy. I'd be amazed if she was going out with him when i first moved to this area and first went to that library 'cause well I can't say what she did but if it wasn't a 'signal' then IDK.
be careful with those "signals". When u like someone u tend to interpret anything they do/say in a biased way.
Yeah but reading into things like how she smiles at me and how she sorta was not too subtly rolling her arse while walking in front of me are the kinda things that give me hope she is giving me signals.
im sorry but that definitely doesnt prove that she's into u. It only shows that she likes mens attention.
She's with a, in her words, 'commitment phobic' guy. I love her and I'm going to make a move. All is fair in love and war.
That was fuckin' good. She smiled and asked me if I was alright. and she had every reason to be off with me considering I'm all but a stranger and blatantly asked her if she was married the other day with an obvious personal interest in knowing. Then while she served me I made conversation. All in all I dont think I made a bad impression which i know i have in the past. That was just fuckin' great. Totally encouraging!
Ok wait...is she a waitress? .......... Shes workin for a tip dude. Smile+flirt=bigger tip. Then again, I could be wrong. As long as no one gets hurt I wish you the best.
