when i had my neck and back surgery in jan i was hooked up to an iv dilaudid.
i was able to release it every 10min and it was a high dose.i had no pain relief at all it sucked.recently i was admitted to the hospital which on top of all my reg meds was able to get a high9 dose of morphine every 3 hours.it did take the edge off the pain and it was i.v also.i was there for a week that time i felt the i.v morphine to help better that i.v dilaudid.i was also on 120mg roxicodone very 3 hours and 275 micrograms of fent on my back every other dayto 100 mics and 1 75mic.also flexerall 10mg 3 times a day ,nuerontin 800mg 3 times a day, klonopin 1mg 3 times a day, cymbalta once a day.trazadone 300mg at bedtime and seroquill 50mg at bed time.
everything but morphine is my normal dosages.
it sucks that nothing effects me anymore.with all those meds it barely took the edge off the pain.they had me on a really high dose of i.v morphine and it barely took off the edge.

iv dilaudid by itself without a huge toleance is nice. but you were also on oxy and fent which by themselves are both better/stronger than the dilaudid.
