i was in washington last week to see phish at the gorge and a couple friends of mine got bunked. they got ripped off for a good chunk which is really fucked up...but somehow i kinda feel like they had it coming. the only reason they even came to the show (i found out when we arrived) was to score. they didn't even care about the music. and when my bro found out he had been ripped off which was during the first set of the second show...he bailed on the entire show and went back to camp to sulk. was it poetic justice then? still sucks...
well personally I don't think having the main intent of scoring when going to a show is bad, sort of a waste if you pay for a ticket yeah, but I can't really say I feel bad for them, it's dumb to buy bulk from a total stranger...that's why you at least take one, maybe chill with the dudes a bit and see what's up, then talk about bulk...maybe just me though
Exactly, I have been bunked enough time to realize you need to talk to the seller a bit. A clear give-away that they are bunking is that they don't know shit about LSD. I remember one guy was like "the second it hits light it loses all potency" so I couldn't look at the product. It ended up being tinfoil wrapped in tinfoil. Another guy sold my friend empty blotters and claimed that we did something to make them lose their LSD. Also I like to find the persons intentions really. It can be interesting to talk to the people who legitimately have loads of LSD. Another thing I look for is that they don't sell a lot of other drugs. I would buy only from a person specializing in psychedelics, maybe they could run a bit of weed, but that's a money game unlike LSD (most of the time). Just make friends with your LSDealer, I know I wouldn't feel good ripping off a bud.
That sucks, I was thinking of going to this show just to buy a sheet actually - lol , but decided to stay home instead and ill find a good rave to try to score at. Although im sure lots of good doses were floating around the gorge for phish, it can be a bitch to score some quality and if possible quanity from strangers
Yeah, especiallly with dose which can be mimicked by anything. I don't feel bad though, shit happens, you reap what you sew. If you have no clue what your doing, what do you expect. If he knew how to handle it, what to look for, and was business savy, meaning him not making compromises with actions or observations because they wanted to score so bad, what did they expect?
i mean i'm sure it happens but i've been goin to see phish since i was in junior high school in the 90's and this is only the second time i've seen someone get ripped off at one of their shows. but i guess it's a gamble you gotta be willing to pay.
hey i was at those shows too! my friend and i dosed for the first night, and we were both peaking during the rock and roll > meatstick jam, it was insane we brought the doses from my friend's personal stash though so we had no problems that's a bummer he wasn't into the music enough to stick around, i had a friend who tried 2cb at a disco biscuits show and it wasn't working, he ended up getting in a bad mood and leaving half hour into it, i still bug him to this day for missing out on another 3 hours of awesome music
In my experience the opposite is true; cannabis is a poor business investment unless you are growing (risky) or buying in pounds (risky), while LSD is nothing but profit. Pot is also a stinky, bulky, impossible-to-mistake-for-any-bucktooth-idiot-cop drug, while LSD has basically an infinite number of ways to hide, and weighs nothing/takes up little space. The profit increase from pot grower -> end street consumer versus LSD chemist -> end street consumer is also vastly different. The latter is much more of an exponential increase along the chain. Or so i'm told
I'm sure some good doses came into town along with this show, hopefully a flood happens soon cause this acid drought sucks!
