so i purchased some opium and i was wondering what its consistency should be like. mine is black, gooey, and sticky...moist, even though i have been keeping it in the freezer. it came in tin foil... im having a hard time trying to smoke it. i have tried to put some of the goo in a bowl with pot, but this didnt make me feel too many effects besides the pot. i then tried to put it on a needle and light it on fire, so that i could pull it away and inhale the smoke... this didnt work too well either. whats the deal here? is this shit whack? i smoked two little balls now and im barely stoned.
Opium is a lot more subtle than many people tend to have in mind their first time goin into it. However after smoking a bit of it you should definitely feel a bit of something...may unfortunately be whack.
i was expecting something along the lines of hydrocodone... i assumed smoking a quarter of a gram would get me somewhere close to 40mg, at least
40 mg. hydro? Eh, probably not man. Think you're expecting too much. I dunno...I always found it a unique high...don't think it's as..intense as hydro, but it's definitely quite relaxing and very nice imo. It comes in all sorts of strengths, and most of it seems to be bunk nowadays. I haven't smoked good opium in over a year.
opium of good quality is a very nice high,mellow and dreamy, but from what you described you got something with some cut of some kind and maybe someone sold you tar heroin as opium, it happens sometimes even in NYC!! the last time I had opium was a year ago, it came through Canada from SE Asia and it was strong and took only 5 or 6 good hits to have you layed out in la-la land..you might of gotten some uncooked opium also, most good opium is cooked with water and calcium carbonate or something is added and the opium is filtered through screens, the best being on the bottom screens..also let the opium dry out!!! The longer it drys and the drier it is, the less water weight by %, the higher the potetcy by weight of the opium!! Dry your stuff out in sunshine, or under a light ,or place it in a warm, but low humidity area,and leave it as long as you can, you will be able to tell a difference..
