Implying in any way that anyone who argues against your incoherent point, wouldn't evidence that you provide for reasons other than intellectually honesty, to me is an insult. Not surprising, you seem to thin you can judge my character simply because of my posts on this forum. Bitter, angry, atleast you can make me laugh with your doctor phil crap. You'll just deny this anyways; you'll keep holding your complaining about past arguments with a person you just met when really you know full well what it is you were trying to imply. Tell me what then did you mean when you said bold? Your trying to tell me that it wouldn't insult you if after you tried to show your evidence and reasoning that "Like I said some people have no desire to even have a reasonable discussion" HOW ISN'T THAT AN INSULT TO MY ABILITY TO HAVE A REASONABLE DISCUSSION???
Don't talk to me about education at least until you've learn how to comprehend what someone is saying. You gotta be kidding!!!
Talk about incoherent, perhaps you could translate this into English. It was you that said it made you angry, were you lying? Yep, I'm still denying it because I know what I was saying and you are clueless. I meant just what I said, that some people have no desire to even have a reasonable discussion. Implying that now you seem to have put yourself in that category and I even stated why I thought you were now in that category. Interestingly, the post you now refer to, comes after your referring to my post as "hilarious", obviously no insult intended. I never said that it wasn't a insult, in fact I was pointing out that it seemed you had dropped even the disguise of reasonable discussion at this point and had already started using insults instead.
So the "educated man" seizes desperately on an admitted mistake in an attempt to discredit anything else I might say. But by that logic, you should remain silent, since in the same post I pointed out numerous instances in which you did not comprehend what I was saying. What was that university you attended again?
An admitted mistake doesn't take away from the fact that your reading comprehension is not up to standards and it shows when you read my posts. I just don't take people without these skills seriously, you sound like a bumbling fool if your going to tell people that they are ignorant, when you yourself can't read properly!!!
I guess you never really had an education because clearly you don't know that telling someone that they have no desire to have a reasonable discussion would automatically get you on any scholars bad side. The quint essential most important characteristic of a scholar in a debate is that they diligently attempt to argue with reason and the intention to look at all sides equally. This to me is the greatest insult you could possibly throw my way and because of this I lost my cool and shot back. I do regret doing so, but it feels good to insult people when they have insulted you first. I'll be honest with you, that attitude you have of 'your making my statement out to be worse than it was' is ridiculous. You should take atleast partial responsibility and recognize that you WILL BE MISUNDERSTOOD in a public forum. THIS IS WHY IT IS WISE TO NOT MAKE ANY GENERALIZED AND STEREOTYPICAL COMMENTS ABOUT ANY GROUP OF INDIVIDUALS DURING A DISCUSSION AS TOUCHY AS RELIGION/POLITICS. That said, I must say this will be the last time I respond to you, in any way shape of form.
Your education is the issue here. Because I never called in to question your desire to have a reasonable discussion until you had already shown that you have no desire to have a reasonable discussion. (poor reading comprehension) Something you have so far proven yourself unable to do. Oh by the way, "scholar", quintessential is one word not two. (spelling) Again your shooting back came before I applied it to you, so does being a "scholar" mean it's okay to jump to conclusions? As has been pointed out to you, I was not talking about you when I said this and so you were not, at that time, insulted by me and so that makes this post a ridiculous attempt to prove that your insults were justified. I've no clue what, 'your making my statement out to be worse than it was', you are talking about. I fully realize that people "WILL BE MISUNDERSTOOD in a public forum", that is why I ask others to explain themselves and then, when they say, that is not what I meant and explain, I accept that and move on. That is what an unbiased educated man does and he does not continually insist that explanation is untruthful and keep referring to his imagined understanding the original statement as being the correct one. And "scholar", perhaps you would be so kind as to tell me what "GROUP OF INDIVIDUALS", I was adressing when I said, "Having discussed this subject with others I realize that no matter what is said, some will still believe that God and the Bible support slavery"? To "poor little uneducated" me, the group it is talking to is those who "no matter what is said, ... will still believe" what they want to believe. Why would that insult you? Surely, a "scholar" like you wouldn't even consider he belonged in a category of people that wouldn't change their minds, even if conclusive proof were given otherwise. I've heard that before, well maybe not the "shape of form" part.
