Did anyone play The Witcher 2? Is it a good game? I'm thinking of buying it for my friend but I'm not sure if it's worth it. I thought about Diablo III also. What do You think?

I've been wondering if the first one was any good, my friend said his friends didn't like it but I thought the trailers looked good.
The Witcher is an awesome game, another mold-breaker in the RPG genre and an instant classic. I've seen The Witcher 2 but haven't played it through yet. Another groundbreaker for sure.
