That America is in deep shit due to the 'moral' thinking of the general populace and the 'war-pig' minds running the country.

Keep your head down, don't say anything bad about Dubya in public, and pass that doob this way, man!

That no matter how bad things are for me, there is always someone worse off, and that my reason for still being here is to make things easier for THAT poor soul.
I have learned that if you put yourself into helping other people and being kind, your own problems lessen drastically in significance.
Love to all, and a happy, healthy, prosperous 2005!

other then to have even less trust in the concept of representational government then they might otherwise have had before, i can't see what or how much it has taught anyone.

but i also know that nothing requires me to see it for it to exist. there was after all the huge discrepancy between the exit polls and the supposedly tabulated popular vote.

so i'm not taking or assuming anything as givin.
    heartlessness MAY be popular
or the voting system may be broken
or both. for it to be neither would seem rather less likely.

    at any rate
we can look at what is and ask why
or we can look at what could be and ask why not

and if we really want what could be,
and i strongly suspect a great many of us actualy do,
then it is up to us to somehow find the ways
    to fix the why nots.

(at least those people over in russia in those two elections were able to do something about it there.)

things may get worse here in the u.s. before people wake up like we did in the 60s.

and maybe someday people here won't be luled and brainwashed back to sleep once they do.

i wish i knew what that would take, but i'm not about to
accept the tyranny of assuming it can't or won't ever happen

    =^^=

    Peace,

many things. one is that you cant live life sitting and thinking. you must act. thinking without acting is worthless. make it reality. so if you are against the war. get up and hold a sign and state YOUR piece.

Sadly, I agree. I've been noticing that whole "outta sight, outta mind" thing. I've heard people say that they want world peace and then right way say that "we need to kick the shit out of Iraq". World peace? Sometimes I wonder how people can be so ignorant as to not even notice their own contradictions.

change and letting go can be really good things, especially when you get stuck in a really oppressive rut.
