anyone out of work ?

I am and it's a challenge to find a job and to stay motivated and focused on getting one. Are any of you in the same boat ?

 

Im out of work but im self employed so I guess it doesnt count

I was selling on ebay awhile...paypal froze all my funds!

 

i was out of work but i got bored in my history class and applied for a job online during class and here I am 10 months later with that same job. but ya not having a job sucks. especially in this shit hole economy.

I collect money from Christians with an internet scam..

both are slow due to health issues and re-assessment as to how I want to spend my time


paypal generally freezes accounts of people with really bad feedback and/or claims registered lol...what did you do?

I have 100% feed back and no claims. I simply lost my bank account! Without a bank account they won't let you touch your money in pay pal. You can't buy, transfer, withdraw or anything but collect it. I have hundreds in there :/

 

been outa work for little over a year, im a union electrician, i havent really been looking for a job tho, this is my first lay off ever so, i road it out as long as i could, but looking to go back here in the next 12 weeks or so......

 

I finished my last job Wednesday and I start my new one Saturday.

I was out of work for a solid year, was real hard to get by with little end jobs. I finally landed something now and tell christmas. Its hard work and im learning a lot that can be frustrating at times cause i hate not knowing what to do. I'm making it work and the pay is good.

 

I've been kinda working for myself...I've been out of work for over a year, but finally got some cash flow coming in...

Still doesn't feel the same as going out and working, though...so I guess I've gotta reassess my working situation...

 

Out of work, but enjoying my free time. I rarely get bored and always have something to do. When I am working I never have the time to do all the things I want.

Ideally I'd like to work part time, but of course the government and the brain washed sheeple who vote for them want to work FULL TIME because they are all too stupid to find ways to occupy their own time.

Everyone works three days = everyone has a job.

But people wouldn't earn enough money to pay their bastard landlords, all the ones who got a foot on the property ladder in the eighties and now rent houses to pay for their expensive holidays when they retire.

It's fucked is what it is.

I've just been put on the work programme now, a new private company who profit from slave labour, so fuck knows what I'm going to end up doing.

 

i am unemployed. however, i have an income still and saved enough when i was working i can afford to enjoy some time off. i don't though.

I recently graduated with my Bachelor's in May, and the job hunt has been ongoing ever since. It's not a great time to be looking for a job, but that's life. You don't always get to choose when you set about doing things that need to be done. I'm hoping I find something soon, even if it's not in line with my major/degree.
