any difference among free pdf readers?

    so far I've avoided downloading a pdf reader. I haven't really needed it, and usually there is a tos agreement that goes with it that I find suspicious.

    any good pdf readers?

    damn you! I *demand* advice now on pdf readers, or I warn you, I'll just download acrobat!!!!!

    Get open office, it's like a freeware version of the MS Office suite and also has a PDF viewer / editor.

    Open Office's database sucks. The spreadsheet & word processor are good!

    I'm using windows xp professional

    I have open office 3.3

    It's only opening pdf's as garbage

    I verified that I have the pdf import extension for open office

    I just used a free on-line PDF viewer, crisis solved.

    I suppose that open office *ought* to read the pdf files, but it's really not worth trying to figure out why it won't since I only very rarely need to read pdf's and can use the on-line viewer

    I have adobe reader 3.0 and it works fine :)

    The newer ones are bloated with crap i dont want,etc..........
