so far I've avoided downloading a pdf reader. I haven't really needed it, and usually there is a tos agreement that goes with it that I find suspicious. any good pdf readers?
damn you! I *demand* advice now on pdf readers, or I warn you, I'll just download acrobat!!!!! don't make me do this!!!!
Get open office, it's like a freeware version of the MS Office suite and also has a PDF viewer / editor. www.openoffice.org
I'm using windows xp professional I have open office 3.3 It's only opening pdf's as garbage I verified that I have the pdf import extension for open office
I just used a free on-line PDF viewer, crisis solved. I suppose that open office *ought* to read the pdf files, but it's really not worth trying to figure out why it won't since I only very rarely need to read pdf's and can use the on-line viewer thanks for the input
I have adobe reader 3.0 and it works fine The newer ones are bloated with crap i dont want,etc..........
