I'm in high school, and I'm a girl, and it seems like I have very no super close girl friends. I've been screwed over a lot by girls in the past, and now it seems like all my closest friends are guys. I'm not purposefully talking to solemnly guys by any means, because I believe a couple bad experiences with a couple mean girls doesn't mean all girls are horrible people.

I don't know how to communicate with them, and I'd love to have a best girl friend.

I try being nice, but so many people just don't want to give me the time of day...unless they can use me for something.

    Any ideas or tips?

    Peace

compliments will get you everywhere with girls. If you want to befriend a girl just compliment her outfit.

    shallow, but it works.

Join a social group/ or participate in a student activity that interests you in your high school

you may want to put this in another forum, like relationships or something.

strictly speaking, this isn't a mental health problem.

if it's related to a mental health problem, maybe you could explain

I have the same problem, too. Don't worry about it. Chances are one of your guy friends will also be friends with a girl you'll become friends with. No sweat. That's how I met my sister.

It could be that you're trying to build a relationship where it isn't welcome by the other party. It could be anything. I will say out front that if you are lesbian and they aren't, they can sense that and if they aren't, there's a good chance that could be the problem.

At the same time, if you aren't, they may still think you are, and still treat you like you are.
Me, I have more men friends than women. I'd love to have more women friends to help me shake off my poor opinion of women. But that's another tale for another time.

Some people just do better with the opposite sex for some reason

    - Constant vacuous affirmations; 'This is my gorgeous friend such n such', 'Oh you make such a gorgeous couple'

    - Never ever flirt with their boyfriend, or so much as smile at him, act smart and nerdy around him so he feels threatened

    - Try be fatter than them so they feel more secure

    - Learn to talk through your nose so they may better understand you

    - Try sync up, so you hit the mood swings at the same time

speak to those who appear not to have a penis

    look for an adams apple

but don't give adam an apple

boobs usually do the trick. look for mounds and talk away

    to the face mostly

but if you're unsure you can have a little peep to make sure it's a girl.
