I never have shoes on in the house, I like to be comfortable.
If I go to someones place, they usually come off oto. When they come here, I'm not too fussed what they do - but if they get on my bed, then they better not have shoes on.

Shoes come off in my house, no ifs ands or buts...same with my moms. Although, I do break that rule sometimes when I'm home and I have to grab something real quick...but its ok cuz I'm the only one that cleans the floor! ;)

Unless you're a chick with uncomfortable shoes, I don't really get the big deal for taking shoes off because "it's comfortable." My shoes are very comfortable, I'd prefer to have them on, I don't find it more comfortable at all to have them off. It's just more awkward and annoying, because I may step on something or stub my toe or any number of other things. Shoes offer protection from that.

If you're a cute girl, take your shoes off, if you're a guy, please leave them on. The worst thing is there you are hanging out with a guy friend and it's like what the hell is that smell? Oh crap that's... oh god, ugh! How do you politely say, "Dude what the hell when did you shower last your sweaty socks smell like a nuclear waste disposal site!?" lol

Some are more comfortable without them. Simple.

    Nice!

I mean, I love getting home and taking off the shoes and letting my toes wiggle around freely. (Around here it is too cold to ever take any clothes off, but otherwise I would)

Shoes, boots, etc. I can't stand. At all. Damn stiff-as-plywood "foot coffins". :frown:

But for some reason, I socks, which is probably just an extension of my fondness for fuzzy / fluffy / comfortable / "unique" clothing (the majority of that which I wear is very loose-fitting clothes (sweatshirts, sweatpants, 100% cotton, etc.)).

Doubtful. I only wear socks when I have on the equally-fuzzy clothes. Since they're in the wash right now, I'm barefoot. "All or nothing" there.
