I thought it was funny how when people get injured or severly damaged others laugh, especially children. This for example. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7WEJuccFWjY"]Home Alone 2 - Marv getting Electrocuted - YouTube I still laugh at this though so yeah, iam part of the club.
Home Alone and Home Alone 2 are the only movies that ever made me laugh so hard I cried AND almost peed myself. Seriously, I don't care what anyone says. That is comedy at its best. It may be comedy that is forever imbedded in my ten year old brain, but goddammit...its still pure comedy.
I've never, ever found this kind of thing funny. It's created quite a few awkward moments when everyone is laughing themselves stupid and I'm just shifting about in my chair, wanting it to be over. Anything with violence just turns my humour right off. In my teens I pretended to like Jackass and CKY and that other one because it was really cool to like them. Now I think they're fucking dumb and pointless and I'm not afraid to say so. I also really dislike those shows that are clips of people having accidents, like people falling off chairs or banging their faces into a door, and there's canned laughter put over it because it's supposed to be hilarious. Strangely, I usually laugh when I have such an accident.
Home Alone was so damn funny. David stern made that movie, he was just a goofy fucker. I recently watched the 2nd one on tv month or so ago and it had been years seen id seen it. I was dying from laughter. People in the house were like wtf is going on in that room lol. Classic films.
Canned laughter is always annoying in my opinion, it's just because it's used so much that I can kinda ignore it (unless it's really not funny so you notice the laughing track because it feels misplaced). Violence is great in my opinion, can be good fun I do think though that Home alone 1 & 2 only feel so great because they made such an impact as a child indeed. It's slightly less hilarious now, but I still remember how superb it was back then
I have always disliked shows like Jackass by the way. Watching people getting hurt isn't nearly always funny but it's just too lame when it's done on purpose. One example that always stays enjoyable though is watching people gettin launched (and relaunched) by bulls
Fat people falling down is the best. When you're down, watch fat people falling... they are like dropping a giant blueberry on the ground and being amazed that it will bounce a little...
I can't help laughing at people being injured, especially when it's their fault. I've gotten in trouble for it before. lol.
If there not seriously injured I find it funny. Seeing someone hit by a car, or something that really f's them up is not entertaining. But watching someone cross the road at an icy intersection and fall on their ass is funny, and I laugh. I laugh at myself when I do something stupid and hurt myself in the process so I would expect other to.
I cannot cover up my laughter when someone trips, falls, stumbles, walks into something, ect. I love the moment when they look around to see if anyone saw, and they see me pointing and laughing.
It may be in part because of cartoons like Tom and Jerry and I've noticed this is movies - Cartoons having violence, and music to move you into thinking it's funny. It's amazing how if you turn off the sound in a scary movie, you're less scared... Same could go for music in suppos'ed comedies.
