Okay, I used to do some light meditating about a year ago but never found the time and/or I was to tired to do it. well around that same time I felt like a very pleasurable enlightened filling whenever I would like for ie hear my favourite song with my favourite guitar solo in it, it's hard to explain but just an incredible feeling of joy and happiness. I would also get this same feeling when my envirnment was just right like walking through a forest all alone with no worries or anything.

What is this I am experiencing and how can i make it come back (havn't had it for a very long time) and it's weird like i would listen to the same song but it wouldn't have the same effect.

Also I was wondering what type of meditation I can do to make my just plain out of it most the day lol I don't mean high but maybe like a less high that would make me very much relax and calm all through the day.

    Thanks in advance
    -Peace

well finding that feeling more often and more intensely would involve unveiling yourself to a process as old as time itself. Discarding the dregs of personality chains and the impediments to being alive and growing -- all this from the teachings of Yogi Bhairava.

:-=-: Exerpt from Gnostic Text- Gospel of Thomas :-=-:

His disciples said: "When will you appear to us, and when will we see you?"

Jesus said: "When you undress without being ashamed and take your clothes
(and) put them under your feet like little children (and) trample on them,
then [you] will see the son of the Living One, and you will not be afraid."

    :-=-: :-=-:

I hope this makes sense for you.

There are lots of theories for the bliss associated with meditation. But without going into them, many people can understand that the bliss comes from a feeling of transpersonal or transcendental awareness, that is, a sense of belonging to a larger whole which places one in their own here and now. There are any amount of means for acheiving this. And they have been written about by many people from naturists, actors, politicians, artists, philosophers, and atheletes. But a sure fire method is Transcendental Meditation as taught by the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.

Being in Sync with the Now is a Beautiful feeling. You can remember when all fell into place kinda like a Deja Vu feeling. Yeah, I feel you. Like walking through a misty woods and all is magic. For me this is living in the Now. Humm... perhaps a book "The Power of Now" would help to re-evoke this connected feeling for you ... perhaps a moving meditation like Tai-Chi done to your favorite music would start the flow for you. All is Choice. You know when you decide with your Heart.

Many times I feel meditating before bed or even in bed helps calm yourself and refelect from what happened during the day. Doing this makes me sleep better which helps mentally as well as physically deal with things the next day.
