Bye-bye baby. The hitting part is what pisses me off. Too bad it's so easy to have children. I doubt jail time will even help someone that would hit a baby.

they should punish the industry which exposes us to toxic chemicals in smoke, food, water and almost everything these days. Almost half of the people already get cancer, allergies and other from their toxic products.

So what? Why are all these networks covering it? Sounds like a local issue, why should anyone else CARE? The government kills thousands yearly in the war on drugs and other such bullshit programs, individual states execute (murder) innocent people for political gains, civil rights and liberties are eroded on a daily basis while the stupidest of people see no problem because as long as it's the good guys taking their privacy and freedom, we know we can trust those good guys to take good care of it.....

So this is equal to all that? THIS is worthy news, that can be calculated to affect me as much as the things the government does right now?

It's just bullshit to make people support more legislation to let the government more into your lives, to find all those people that we suspect to be blowing pot into their kids mouths. I'm sorry for the kid, and hope the situation is dealt with fairly for all parties, but for those of us who don't live next door, there's more pressing issues.

 

They are covering because it is sensational, that's what they do.

The part that bothers me the most about all this is that they focus on her blowing the weed smoke into her kids mouth. Yes, that is wrong, however, compared to;

That is just AWFUL. I don't care if it is in Timbucktoo, since I am (now) aware of this...it just sets my teeth on edge. These 'witnesses' - what did they do? When I read about how witnesses say that she blew the smoke in the baby's mouth and "hit her repeatedly", that REALLY just yanked my chain!

I don't give a damn - if I ever SAW somebody hitting a baby OR blowing smoke in it's mouth, I hope and pray that I'd have the spine and decency to step up and DO something. Perhaps they thought they were and reported her, I don't know. I just know that the "repeated hitting" should never have been allowed to happen, much less the smoke.

And to think - this ignoramus of a mother said all of this was because she was frustrated because she couldn't find an outfit to wear! oh my...what would she do if there was something important "frustrating" her?! (can we say another Caylee Anthony?)

 

Hopefully someone is holding her down and blowing some smoke into her mouth...

This is exactly why there should be some sort of criteria to be met before one decides to have children. Some mothers/fathers just don't have a clue as to how to handle an infant/child. Um...yeah, sure, hitting your baby is totally gonna' make her stop crying

 

You shouldn't have to meet criteria to do it, that's beyond fascist sounding.

But if you're caught hitting a little kid, that should be IT for you and little kids, ever. any you have should be taken, and If you have another, it should be taken at birth. And any further kids that have to be taken should be fully billed to you.

 

We need to get little switches installed on our hips... both male and female... with the default setting to off... unless both people turn them on, no pregnancies...

and then, if they do get caught abusing kids, as rs said, all their kids get taken away, and we crazy glue their switch to off...

 

yet people smoke tobacco around babies all the time, and nobody makes a big stink about it..

Here, smoking in cars with kids in them is illegal. It's also illegal to smoke almost everywhere public (and getting worse) anyways...

If someone was videod blowing tobacco smoke into a child's mouth, they would almost certainly be charged...
