My apologies if this has been brought up before in past threads... I have heard that those with Venus and Pluto aspecting each other in a natal chart can cause a person to have very intense, strong, and in some cases overpowering emotions. It can possibly make a person a bit obsessive as well in the love department? Does anyone have this aspect in their natal chart? Do you think this description is accurate? I am Venus trine Pluto myself. I have heard that the Venus-Pluto aspect is similar to having Venus in Scorpio. I find myself having intense feelings that I have to constantly keep underwraps under a cool exterior.
Well hello there. Another fellow with Venus Trine Pluto...But, I also have my natal Venus sign placed in the 8th house. The house of Transformation, Uncovering of Secrets and deep buried wounds in the subconscious. It is also the house ruled by both Pluto and Scorpio. With my Venus placed in the eighth and trine Pluto, I would naturally incorporate the intensely romantic and sexually magnetic trait that is inherent in a scorpio venus , even though my Venus is in pisces. I can't begin to tell you how frustrating this aspect can be at times. The impression I send out may seem calm and collected, yet emotions are boiling with great intensity beneath the surface. When I start to feel such strong and passionate feelings for someone or a certain situation, it can border on insane obsession. (Though only very few people will notice this part. Remember venus in house 8 will hide this aspect well.) When I am especially hurt or angry about something, I tend to keep a grudge until I can retaliate in some way. Up until that point, I even start to visualize and dream these morbid thoughts of seeking revenge and dominating over a situation.
My venus is conjunct pluto, in the 1st house (with an orb of 3 deg). All I can say is for years I experienced almost insanely overpowering emotions...but which I knew I needed to keep "under wraps", so to say. Even tho' I know that one's natal chart will definitely always need to be consulted, I have lived long enough that I have actually begun to feel progressions to some degree. I did discover that I had to find ways to channel these overwhelming emotions/feelings and not simply "push them down"...for my body began to rebel with things like shingles, hives, & irritable bowel syndrom (I know...ewwww).
