ive been swimming and running a mile every night since the 14 of august...Except for weekeends...Weeknds i drink...Anyone else swim like i do?
Weekend's are alway's best left free for drinks. I learnt to swim at a very young age. There's old family video's of me in a kiddy pool when I was about three or four and there's my dad trying to teach me how to dunk my head underwater. I used to be shit scared of the creepy crawly pool cleaning thing, thought that if I got too close to it I'd get my hand or foot stuck or something. My little sister actually pulled it out of the one day and made me pat it. I was very proud of myself for displaying such bravery. In Tasmania I'd go swimming in river's and small lake's all the time. Of course it never helped having uncle's who'd take the piss out of me when I was little, telling me that there were crocodile's and snake's in the water. I'd go swimming in dam's and billabong's in the outback too. Now I dont swim as much because I dont live close to a lot of beaches.
Funny you should mention it, I just thought about it yesterday. I`m either joining a club or making the long trip to the public pool regularly now. I exercise regularly, but I`ve been longing for some water lately. Pool parties! :2thumbsup: @OP: Where do you swim?
ahhh thats sweet...to both of you....i swim in a pool like 10 mins away from me...Its amazing...I run and swim every day during the week and on the weekends i drink...Iam doing that until i get my own aparment then everythings free drinking wise LOL....Its amamazing people, swimming...I cant stop once i start
Swimming is fun for me, until it reaches the point of being "exercise". Unless there's a shark with a sweet tooth for skinny white boy flesh I will doggy paddle around.
Ah. Nothing wrong with it. I give you props for that. I love swimming in lakes though. We have a lake a couple hours away that you can walk out like 150 yards and the water only comes up to your chest then.
yes dude i do the slowest back stroke posssible...Iam gone when i do it...Iam usually freestlying it tho
I love swimming laps. If I were rich I would build a lap pool in my house and keep the water at 76f-nice and brisk to encourage steady movement of the arms and legs.
Swimming.. not for exercise. And not in pools, unless it was the only option. I love being in and under the water, but in the ocean, and at a relaxed pace.
yup... and like you i save any foolishness to the weekend also. i wont touch a drop of beer until then.
