Anyone here had much experience with the stuff? It's still legal here in the UK (though for how long I don't know) and was wondering about getting some in. Long lasting trip apparently, sounds interesting.
Is that the old drug that used to be used in the USSR as an antidepressant despite it's obvious psychedelic charracteristic?
Don't think so, but would be happy to be proved wrong. Are we allowed to talk about vendors here if the drug is still legal where we live?
If we are talking about alpha-MT, then, yes, I am correct that it is a former USSR antidepressant. Check out the wiki article; it is actually really interesting!
Don't think there are many drugs you can fit onto a blotter, I'll probably put it in some water or cap it if I want to take it to a festive with me. . Problem with drugs like this you need to put aside a decent amount of time for them
Nice one...can understand why it was used a while ago if it releases serotonin, norepinephrine and dopamine.
Have a look at the vaults of erowid. Think I'm going to get some in stock, but may be a while before I try it.
http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/amt/amt_effects.shtml These effects look great! if only i could get my hands on some...
Where you based? It's not illegal everywhere yet. I am allowed to post links if it's not illegal where I am?
Exactly! It is pretty much like a more serotonin-oriented version of Amphetamine which has been used in the past, and is experiencing a re-emergence in use as an antidepressant (that is technically why I am on it...). The psychedelic properties were seen as a "bothersome side effect" haha. I would love to try the stuff, but in the US it is Schedule I. In the UK it is unscheduled though. I'd love to hear some experience reports on it.
Your prescribed amphetamines? They don't get prescribed here in the UK, but recently got my hands on some Dex which was interesting stuff. I'd suspect that anything that releases serotonin isn't going to be much cop long term (think that long term wrung out feeling you get when you've been caning mandy or meph to hard)
Yeah. I have a really severe and complicated form of Bipolar Depression (I don't experience mania but I DO get psychotic on occasion, although the stimulants actually help that part, it is weird) and the only thing that is legal that lifts my cloud of depression is Amphetamine. I take Vyvanse since it is only Dextroamphetamine, the more euphoric of the two isomers. It is pretty much a 'last resort' type of treatment. I'd say that it, self-psychotherapy (not therapy with a person though), opioids, and psychedelics are the only things that help my depression.
It's odd I never get euphoria of dextroamphetamine, even when I've taken 300mg+ of the stuff. Works really nicely mixed with MDMA though Interesting you find psychedelics help you...I won't go near the thing unless I'm feeling ok, in fact this is the first year I've started indulging in the things after a long break, just never felt right and I know how nasty a bad trip can be. Even then I prefer to have a stock of benzos to hand when I do.
Yeah. I benefitted quite a lot from taking moderate (not high) doses of 2C-I (my psychedelic of choice) in the last year and a half. Like Dextroamphetamine, it 'paradoxically' helps my mental struggles. I have taken it during spells when I have felt great but also down times, and it helps in different but consistent ways.
amt is pretty sweet, have only tried once at 25mg. The come up is admittedly a bit rough, or was for me anyhow; took about an hour to feel anything then it was about 2 hours of uncomfortable body load and spacey head feeling, after that though it was smooooth sailing for 10+ hours! The feeling was a strange blend of roughly one hit of good acid or low dose mushrooms, a low dose mdma, and some amphetamine all wrapped up. It came in waves of lots of energy altering to really chilled out, definitely plan to explore more.
