I just scored roughly 200 liberty caps for £20. Can anyone recommend a good way to consume these? Will it be better to make a tea? Or would it be more effective to just munch them? I plan on splitting them out between 3 people. I am unsure of the weights and I have no good scales. So I'm just going to measure it out by eye. Any tips? I'll post some pictures later and a trip report to follow.
If you've never taken them before find some scales! You can get ones that will do for less then a tenner on ebay. Look for about 15g a person, less if anyone is nervous. Don't eat for a good few hours before you take them. You can make them into a tea, but you will lose some of the effect if you do. If you have a lot this may not be an issue. Try not to be drunk or stoned before you take them, you can always indulge later. Having some benzos about can be nice but no essential.
I've had mushrooms once before. (about 1/4 ounce dry). I'm pretty experienced with acid, and have recently been exploring the DMT world. So I'm sure I'll be fine. - So just munch down then? I'd rather not loose any potency...
If you can stand the taste then that's cool. I chop them up very fine and put them in a strong tasting drink. Having a set of scales really isn't a bad idea though seeing as how cheap they are.
I know! I need some scales bad. I got a set from Amazon last week, but they turned up and didn't work! I'm still trying to sort that problem out. I've even been hitting the DMT by eye as well. I'd get another set, but I plan on tripping tomorrow. By the way, the shrooms are fresh. When you say 15g.. Is that fresh or dry? I could do some rough math and guesswork.
15g fresh as a staring dose, but you could go higher if you know the score with tripping. I prefer them at the 30 to 45g mark.
I don't weigh em, I'm much less accurate. 60-80 is a nice trip, regardless of size. I prefer making tea because they come on in about 15 minutes, don't taste like shit if you add a fuckload of sugar and lemon, and it doesn't cause too much of the stomach jigglies
... if your worried about losses, squeeze and strain out the mush with a sieve after leaving it for about 30 minutes. Then leave the pulp to dry and munch that later for a mild top up
you eat up to 80 mushrooms? Thats a lot. In the mountains where I get them I eat 20 of them and then I am so hallucinated that I have to wait some hours until I can go on looking for them...I read that they are less potend in places under 800 m altitude?
20 liberty caps? I'm not sure about the altitude affecting potency, but I think I'm going mountain climbing soon if so :drool5:
hmmm i dont know about shrooms but plants tend to be smaller and more concentrated on the mountains. i dont know where you live but wish you good luck in finding some. where I live, this autumn was way too dry for shrooms so no shrooms for me this year but we had a great sunny, dry and warm indian summer so far:sunny:
