Was just curious...lame as this sounds, it turned out that this date ended up with a 19 year marriage that is still going strong: My date met me at my house, and as soon as we got to his car, it started raining. We didn't have any solid "date plans," and ended up going to a 7-11, getting nachos and a Pepsi, and driving to the local state park to talk over the nachos. Turns out the radio station we were listening to was on a Beatles kick for the evening. Dumb as this sounds, what an awesome date. Ended up marrying an awesome guy, too!
the night i met my girlfriend i picked her up and decided to give her a piggyback it lasted about three seconds since i was pretty inebriated we ended up falling over in an alley and landing on broken glass although i mutilated her arm - i still got lucky.
Coolest thing I've ever done on a date...went on a road trip and spent a week in Dallas. While there, we visited the Museum of Nature and Science, spent a day at Six Flags, half a day at Hurricane Harbor, the Galleria, the Six Flags Mall (most ghetto mall I have EVER been in). I consider that a date, lol.
I cant remember the coolest thing I've done on a date. Cool shit usually happens within a relationship for me. The worst was taking a non-outdoorsy type guy hiking. I kept asking if he was ready to go back because it was getting late. I think he kept saying no because it was obvious he wasnt having the easiest time and wanted to look more manly. It got dark and we got lost. When we finally got to the cars I took off. I was glad I was changing my phone number because I would never have called him again anyway.
Drunk, trying to help a girl I had picked up, out of my car. Slipped, tore her dress and dragged her out of the car into the dirt that was like flour, along with myself,. When the dust settled and we quit floppin' around, her impression of me took a sudden turn for the worst. All was not well. Not even a little bit.
Coolest Thing I Think, Was When Sam And I Went To Lunch In The Revolving Restaurant At The Highest Point In Sydney, Centrepoint Tower, We Had A Lovely Meal Washed Down With Champagne, And When The Time Came For It To Close And Reopen At 5-00pm For The Dinner Patrons The Staff Said You Are Welcome To Stay Whilst We Clean And Reset All The Tables.... So We Sipped Champagne From 2-00pm Till 5-00pm, Then We Ordered Dinner.... Whilst All The Time Enjoying The Revolving View Extending For 150km's. Magical Day, And It Brought Us Even Closer Together.... Don't Ask What The Bottom $$$ Line Was Please... Cheers Glen.
