I really wanted to do something special for Christmas. my boyfriend and I have been having a LOT of problems lately, so I didn't want to go all out and spend a lot of money on each other. I had an idea to get 2 dread kits (with the wax and shampoo and whatnot) and we could dread each other for Christmas. It's something the both of us want to do, so I thought it was a lovely idea. We could save money (the kits don't cost very much) and DO something together for the holiday instead of just getting another material possession. but he wasn't into it. He would rather have me buy him something. I'm quite disappointed. I don't want to get him something that he doesn't want, but I really didn't want to get him just another gift. Anything that would really get him excited is really expensive. (read: acoustic guitar, hand drum or keef box) any suggestions?
A "LOT" of problems, you say? And if he would rather have you buy him something then have something that comes from your heart, maybe you should try looking in a different direction? cough cough breakup cough cough. Sorry, he just sounds like he shouldn't be worth your time, you could do better
Aww babe, thats no good. He wants you to buy him something, so hed rather have pressies than spend some quality time with you... screw that!
I agree... that's pretty sad hun... maybe you should think about spending some quality time with someone ELSE this christmas.... (this doesn't necessarily mean another guy, it could just be a friend or family) if not i hope you do find something and you have a happy time
