pendulum divination/ talking boards/ spirit guide

I've been reading about a few people's experiences with contacting the spirit world. I'm interested in trying pendulum divination and possibly using a talking board in order to attempt to talk to a spirit guide.
Is there anyone who would share their own experiences, methods?
And if anyone would give me advice i would appreciate it.

 

I was using a board the other day and the word "C A S T L E" was spelled out to me. I was pretty fucking freaked, my boyfriend got 35 points for that shit on a triple word score.

 

By talking board do you mean ouija board? Honestly I wouldn't fool around with those things. I started with Tarot. There are alot of really great Tarot decks out there these days. I started with traditional. Also, traditionally, I understand you are supposed to be gifted with your first deck, but I don't think alot of people stand on tradition these days. Everybody has a "way" that resonates with them. For some people it is pendulums, others, Tarot or I Ching etc. Have fun with it

 

Me neither. A complete waste of valuable time.

 

The thing with a talking board is that you have to be careful to set it up within a protective environment to filter out lower entities speaking through it.

I have used tarot cards before, i'm just thinking about trying something different. I'm most interested in the pendulum, i have heard of people using a talking board as a tool in communication along with the pendulum.
what can i do to create a safe environment and protect myself?

 

I had a close friend in my youth whose mom and her female companion got heavily into the board thing after reading the Seth books. They supposedly contacted a spirit through the board, and recorded piles of manuscript on the conversations and information the supposed spirit provided through the board.

Then one day they asked the supposed spirit if spirits could lie. The board answered "yes." After that they lost enthusiasm.

But I suppose it could be entertaining and interesting to see what you get.

 

Hayzle, setting up protected space involves a few things. You need to know how to ground yourself, shield yourself and set up a protective barrier.

 

why wouldn't a spirit be able to lie? people make some of the silliest damd assumptions. nothing is obliged to resemble anything anyone imagines themselves to know about it.

i don't know about this seth, i think i may have heard or read something somewhere, but i don't see anything anyone claims to know as being at all pertinent. that goes for any and every belief as well.

i don't know about the board as a communication device either, more like a symbol that helps to tap the subconscoius, which in tern, logs on to some kind of psychic internet as it does in dreams. but its the 'dreaming' subconscious that does the 'communicating', if there actually is any.

people and things you don't see, are just people and things.

people just make a big deal out of things like this because people like to find excuses to make big deals out of everything.
