So in a cornfield, we planted 15 plants. I usually would water at night when the corn was low, and every now and then an animal would dig one up, I mean I expected that somewhat. Sometimes they would leave the plant behind and I'd replant it.

So fast forward to now, I'm down to 2 legit plants, about belly button high. I had 2 plants, like at my knees (had to have been some I replanted) and one that was replanted, and broken half way so I tore off the half and the bottom is still growing, granted its like 10 inches tall. I probably won't get much off it.

but on the taller plants, its like the animals just ate off the low branches and leaves right to the 'stalk'. And on the two smaller ones, they are ate up too and broken in half. All I know what to do is just keep trying to get them to grow. But do you guys have any advice what to do about these bastards terrorizing my plants?

And seriously, fuck you animals. You dig them up, then just leave it right there all intact! I mean atleast eat the plant or something useful instead of just fucking my plans up!

    ugh!

planting in a cornfield is not recommended...but...too late....get some cheap perfumey smelling soap such as irish spring and shave it all up with a cheese grader..put in 2 paper bags and hang them on opposite sides of the plants...or...some people use ''skoot''if there is money at stake but its 27 bucks a bottle....i have found less plants dug up after i stopped using vermiculite[fish scales] in my soil mix....fuckin bears love to dig up vermiculite.....you can buy ''deer apples'' at this time of year...leave a bushel of deer apples off to the side in the bush and lure them away from the plants

best way is to wait there tonight with a gun and blow the little bastard off the face of the earth and leave its body nearby

Just imagine Bill Murray doing it with a speech impediment and it takes on a more funny tone.

tiny ass mites ,cats, stupid dogs...if you keep any cattle in the house its a good idea to keep them away from the plants....also horses...they can stick their head right in the window...

    but mostly spider mites
