Greetings my fellow lost souls and new age hippies who are trying to figure out where they fit in this polluted and corrupt society with a dwindling economy. I don't know about you but I feel that finding and living on a commune of a community of down to earth, peaceful and fun loving people seperated from society surrounded by beautiful scenery is where I want to spend the rest of my life. As an aspiring writer and poor graduate student I seriously just want to say fuck the system and create my own way of life. Unfortunately I'm not a millionaire so I can't just go and buy a bunch of land and hire people to build cabins for us but maybe if a bunch of us get together, poll our resources and so some research maybe we can find a good place with cheap property or an abandoned campground or camp or something that already has cabins and stuff. Kinda like the Grateful did when they wanted to get away for a bit they stayed at a camp. But also back then you could pretty much find a commune anywhere. It really sucks that the 60's era had to end. But if enough of us want it we don't have to let it! Either we need to find enough of us to pool resources or we need to rally up some older hippies who gave in to the system to break away from it again and help us or we need to find a millionaire hippie who's willing to be our founder and make friends with him/her. How awesome would it be if we could find a white bus, paint it psychadelic colors and drive from NY to California like something the Merry Pranksters would do and pick up hippies and people like us along the way in different states until we reached our new home in California. Maybe we can't do the bus thing but I hope progress toward a commune is possible. Who's with me?? :groupwave::groupwave::groupwave:

hey thats sounds totally awesome. actually im working two steady jobs right now. im trying to save up as much money as i can right now cause i wanna head out to portland next year, possibly earlier, for example, after the new year. dude getting a bus and having a road trip to there or cali or anywhere honestly would be fucking sick and would be totally up for it. im right in the middle of the electric kool-aid acid test and its just a superb read. so tbone, where you located bro??
Right On. That's a fantastic book. Right now I'm staying with some fam in Florida. I'm from upstate NY. I'm saving up money to for traveling expenses. Keep me posted on your plans. I'm looking for travel companions as well. Keep it real man.
