Try to revive this thread. I'm in the Freedom area North of Liberty and west of Unity....Damn I love saying that. But its the truth.
LMAO. Southern Maine is nice... Probably because Portsmouth and Dover, NH are 20 minutes away and Boston and Salem, Mass are around an hour away. I'm in the woods, town and the beach are a 10 minute drive. Yep, I'd say I'm in the perfect spot. Not diggin the sunset at 3:30 in the goddamn afternoon in the winter, though. Wtf is up with that?? It's like friggen Alaska or something. :toetap05:
Also, watch out for this guy: http://abcnews.go.com/US/escaped-in...e-maine-police/story?id=15088267#.Tt15pla9Z2I Courtesy Carroll County House of Corrections Authorities are searching for David Glenn Hobson, an inmate that escaped from a New Hampshire prison and believed to be on the run in Maine. He is seen in this mug shot provided by the Carroll County House of Corrections. Manhunt for Escaped Inmate in Maine Hobson's father Glenn Hobson was arrested Friday night for a charge of hindering apprehension. McCausland said he left clothing, a blanket and medical supplies outside his home for his son to pick up, but not a weapon. Police believe he obtained a weapon from somewhere else. Glenn Hobson has since been released after posting a $500 bail. Hobson's mother Louann Hobson picked up the phone on Monday and confirmed that it was her before hanging up abruptly when ABCNews.com called. David Hobson has several relatives in Alfred, Maine, which has led authorities to believe he may be in the area. Police are warning residents in the area to be cautious and aware of their surroundings and to report any suspicious behavior. Hobson escaped prison by scaling a 12-foot fence topped with razor wire while he was in the prison's recreational area, according to Jason Johnson, the superintendent for the Carroll County House of Corrections in Ossipee, N.H. "We did recover a bloody shirt outside the jail and the [recovered] stolen vehicle had some blood in it as well," Johnson said. Hobson was being held in the facility for burglary charges and his pre-trial was scheduled for later this month. On Saturday evening, the Maine State Police recovered a Toyota Highlander SUV that Hobson had allegedly stole. It was found in a heavily wooded area of Maine. Bloody clothing found inside the car has yet to be processed, but McCausland said authorities believe the clothing to be Hobson's.
I heard about that If I didn’t live in Portsmouth and know for certain that Maine actually exists I wouldn’t believe it either; shit even the name McCausland sounds like it’s right out of a Stephen King novel Hotwater
Maine does exist!!! Out of all the states I have been to and the cities I have lived in, Portland has got to be one of the Greatest Places I have ever been. The freshest seafood in the world. Every one of the old cobblestone alleyways seem to have hidden pubs with some of the nicest decor and beautiful exposed beams. These buildings have been here since the beginning of time, it seems. An unbelievable number of microbrews, some of the bars even have 50+ taps running with beers you have never tasted from countries you may have never heard of. The patrons are extremely friendly as well as the staff, most of them looking for somebody new to smoke out with and the green buds that I have tasted in Maine are far superior to a lot that I have had from the West coast. As in their microbrews, the bud is all about quality and taste. And for those that don't think it exists, It really does, it's just one of those fine kept treasured secrets. That's just a little bit on Portland, the rest of the state is something to be seen also.
