Lately I have occasionally been having dreams of very large snakes of all kinds eating all the music. I'm not sure how I can see the music that they are eating. I just can, it is a dream after all. It's not a nightmare because it doesn't frighten me, it just freaks me out a little. I'm bothered by it and can't figure it out. Any ideas on what this might mean ?
You could try describing what "music" is to you and see what else in your life is similar or what else you have similar feeling about. Do the same with the snakes. Ask yourself how you feel about snakes and look to see what else in your life you feel this way about. It could be that the music and the snakes are symbolic of other things in your life.
If that were my dream, I would interpret it as something evil eating my dreams and passion in life. But dreams have different meanings, depending on who is doing the dreaming!
Music is everything, the sounds of life and nature, the rain, the wind and everything. Music is emotions and feelings and thoughts. Music is the essence of things. As opposed to listening to a song. Snakes just freak me out, but not in a phobia kind of freak out. Snakes are snakes and should do what snakes do. Just not around me. I often come across snakes out in the wild and I just say to them. Go be a snake and do what you do somewhere else. They usually slither off quietly. if not, I make a wide path around avoiding them. In the past I used to be pretty good about interpreting my dreams, I used to be quite proficient at lucid dreaming. So much that I would often have friends tell me that I was visiting them again in there dreams. I used to be quite the wandering dreamer and have been places and done things that should probably have been left alone. Anyways ... I'll ponder it some more. it's nice to have/get an outside view of something and advice to help see things that should be obvious to one self.
