This past thursday I was caught in school taking pills. Needless to say its been a rough past couple days mentally and around the house. I was thinking back on it and it occured to me how dumb it is to take a few pills, potentially fatal, to feel good when I could just take a couple puffs from the ole' pipe and feel the same if not better, and safely to boot. So now, I'm sitting here stoned two days after the ordeal and feeling alright (I know weed shouldn't be used as an escape, but sometimes its just what the doctor ordered) and it occured to me that marijuana is the most amazing theurapeutic device known to man, not to mention one of the safest. So if you're feeling down, not to the point of suicide (then it just tends to make you think worse on it), then take a few nice tokes and sit back and relax and think about how true this slogan I just made is; Marijuana: A Comforting Blanket of Numb Warmth. Peace, EuphoricMelodies
I like it. But i always thought opium was a warm blanket. You should go on a speakin tour across the country and tell high school kids to smoke weed instead of doing other drugs. You could make a killing.
I don't think it'd go down too well with most people but yeah and Euphoric, very well put, if I may say so.
Hahaha, thanks guys. Yeah, I could really see going on a tour of highschools in the tri-state area promoting the theurapeutic (?) effects of pot. That'd be a hell of a time tho, pass out joints at the door and sell it by the gram for students who would like to purchase some after the speech. .
hah that would be great..the american mark emry(he didnt sell it he just lit up a j after a speech) dude what kidn of pills were u taking? my friend got expelled last year for havina pocket full of triple c's
Never found marijuana to be very numbing, maybe I'm not doing it right, haha. Um, once in a while it's cool to use weed when you're down, but I wouldn't want to get in the habit of it. Still, it's not like it just kills your brain so you can't think about it (like alcohol), it makes you feel good but you can still think about your problem, sort of from a different place. Perspective is good. Use the tool, but don't abuse it by using it as a refuge. We are blessed with such a great plant, let us not misuse it.
man, that statement is very true though. i just wanted to mention that. and yes, going around to schools is a great idea, they'd stick with the herd innstead of worse shit. unfortunatly, i doubt it could happen
i dont thinkm of it as a blanket or a cover or something, i think of it more as a solvent. it.. opens or dissolves holes in the fabric between our mind and the world, so we can see clearer. though some people open up so many oles that it falls apart.. and the mind fall out of itself, and into the world, breaking the barrier between imagination and reality. i guess that would be schizophrenia and other such diseases. i like analogies
