Shed loads...when ever I feel like it. Coffee, tea, red bull like drinks it's all good. Also make up my own caps with guarana extract.
once a week we go to a good restaurant, have a good meal and then a coffee at the end. Italian coffee only because the others dont make good coffee. at home I drink cereal coffee without caffeine every day.
i used to drink a ton of soda. In the ballpark of 60+ fl/oz as day, in addition to a cup or two of coffee in the morning. Im trying to cut back just because of how bad all that HFC and food coloring is. Im trying to switch over to just drinking tea, its quite a struggle. I associate meals with soda and i feel like i cant truly enjoy a meal without a sweet, bubbly soda.
i drink coffee in the mornings, usually just one a day but sometimes more. i usually have tea later in the day, especially in the winter months.
You can buy pure caffine on some sites on the internet...but you've got to have bloody good scales if you don't want to turn into a twitching mess.
Easier yes. Average strength of a caffeine pill (in the UK) 80mg. 24 tabs is about £3. Cost of 100g of caffeine is £4.
I hate caffeine. I don't drink coffee, don't eat chocolate (except white chocolate), and I drink caffeine free Coca-Cola. Caffeine tastes vile, I will never understand the majority of the population's fascination with this thing.
caffeine has a taste. it's the common denominator in coffee, chocolate, and Coca-Cola. eat caffeine pills and you get the same taste. i hate the taste, but it's not the only thing i dislike about it. it just doesn't go well with me physiologically. when i eat chocolate (except white of course), drink too much Coke that is not caffeine free, my head starts to feel weird. it's not actual headache but just this uncomfortable feeling. and coffee is just disgusting, i can't even bear the smell of it.
Caffeine does have a bitter taste. If you order pure caffeine powder it is really bitter. Most things like coffee, tea, cocoa ect are bitter anyway so it hides it.
I toned it down now. I used to drink 3 a day so now I'll drink one (with creamer! I drank it straight black then) before my class starts and when I get home, I'll have one or two cups of tea with milk.
apparently caffeine has been banned from being sold on school property in Ontario now. not sure how i feel about it - doesn't seem like an entirely bad idea, but they even banned tea!
Interesting - certainly high sugar caffeinated drinks does have an effect on behaviour in some students as well as starting them young as good litle consumers.
Some caffeine at just the right time is quite helpful for me to delay tiredness when I have to stay up late that night.
My caffeine intake is incredibly inconsistent - some days I drink two 16 ounce cups, other days I drink 6 or 7 of them. I'm currently trying to switch to green tea... IBS & coffee can be a pain together
