From the previews it looks pretty good [IMG]

I loved the original but I'm open for a remake as long as it's true to the original movie

Oh god, aside from Reeves, they turned a classic 1951 twilight zone like film with an important message to humanity, to an epic, explosion laced kicking ass movie.

But the fact Reeves is the star just makes me think oh god. It's not the fact a remake is supposed to be just like the original, but this is going to be a whole different character same in name only now.

anyone know who the director is? that could make all the difference in the world how bad or good it might be. reeves is one hell of a good actor! i have my doubts though that he can rise to this role.

i hope this is not a remake with great speical effects and a shitty story line... way, way, way too meny of those made today!

    just saw this movie yesterday.

    IT IS MOTHERFUCKING GREAT!:cheers2:

i feared it was going to be 100% pure horseshit.
    i'm glad it was not!
it was very, very, very, well brought up todate for the early 21 century.

the 1951 classic was great for it's time too however, in a lot of ways it is quite dated for the world we live into day.

I thought it was horrific and one of the worst remakes since War of the Worlds [IMG]

    I. Have alluded to this in many posts.

Remakes are oft crap . To be blunt.
The premise we destroy earth suddenly shifted from NUKES to global warming..
Nice fit in with popular media -nonthought-
Micheal Rene is 3 times the actor Keeanu is.. a given
    Cleese really makes the movie
